As the former President and Chair of the Board of Mediators Beyond Borders International, Cole has been a driving force in promoting mediation globally. In the early 1990s, she played a pivotal role as Chair of the Civil Justice Reform Act Commission, where she recommended the use of mediation in the civil case management process for Federal Judges in the Middle District of Florida.
