How many pushups can you do? The Mayo Clinic has come out with push-up guidelines for men and women between the ages of 25 to 65. Here are my thoughts on what the Mayo Clinic is recommending.

  • Rhabdo In The News Again!
    Oct 9 2024

Rhabdo has occurred at Tufts Univ with several players of the lacrosse team developing this condition after a navy seal style workout. Turns out, over the years, rhabdomyolysis has occurred at several other colleges as well as in high schools and even middle schools too. China has also seen its share of rhabdo cases too. I also want to address the common recommendation to simply drink water if you think you have rhabdo.

Rhabdo Talk is the YouTube channel I created where I will be posting rhabdo videos moving forward.

  • Do Copper Peptides Grow Hair?
    Jul 29 2024
Can copper peptides regrow hair? I went down a rabbit hole looking for the research, so you don’t have to. I discovered something that nobody is talking about. If you do the research yourself, you need to know that the technical name for copper peptides is GHK-CU. GHK is a peptide composed of glycine, histidine, and lysine. When GHK binds to copper, it forms copper peptides (GHK-CU). Does it work? Here’s the proof. • Raise GLP-1 With Foods & Supplements
    Jul 13 2024

Glucagon-like peptide 1, better known as GLP-1, is at the heart of how medications like Ozempic/Wegovy (Semaglutide), Trulicity (Dulaglutide), Monjaro (Tirepatide), and others work. They are very effective at lowering blood sugar, curbing appetite, and reducing hunger, but what if you wanted to try to raise GLP1 naturally with foods or supplements?

Here are the things that have been shown to do it. Keep in mind the degree to which GLP-1 increases with foods will be less than what medications can accomplish, it’s also true that side effects will be minimized too.
