• 008-Jenny Hedrick - Mental Health For Moms
    Nov 11 2024

Mental health is not a spa day or a "treat yourself" day. Everyone is often talking about mental health these days, but are they really talking about it in the way that God intended for us to take care of ourselves?

Join in on this interview with Jenny Hedrick, a mental health therapist, to hear how God's Word is sufficient and when we do what He's asked us to do, we can bring healing to our minds, bodies, and souls.

Jenny Hedrick is a homeschool mom who works as a mental health therapist and relationship intelligence coach. Jenny also has a Certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University. She lives in Northern Colorado with her husband and their 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 axolotls, chickens and honeybees. Jenny started the Super Simple Homeschool podcast and website in 2024 to help inspire moms to homeschool simply and purposefully.

(Note: this conversation was not geared toward individuals who have experienced trauma or mental illness. Please reach out to your local church for recommendations on finding a licensed and trusted Christian therapist near you. )

If you've ever come to a "dead end" in the medical world when searching for serious help with your health, our guest Leah Rohlf can feel your pain! She's a mom of five who found herself writing goodbye letters to her children in the ER because she was in so much pain for so long she thought she was going to die. After three years on antibiotics and chronic pain and numbness she decided to quit everything and look for alternative methods of healing. Fast forward to now--she's a thriving entrepreneur, business owner, ministry leader, and homeschool mom that is serving Northern Colorado by bringing families natural health options at a viable price point. God is using her testimony to bring hope, encouragement, and support to families in need of alternative methods of healing in Loveland, CO. You'll love her grace-filled approach, practical advice, faith story, and sustainable lifestyle tips.
