I was so happy to find this pod cast about Oliver Sachs in my Audible account. I was a very big fan of his during his life and have reread many of his books at least twice. If there is any plan for more programs about him in the future please keep me informed.

I loved and was intrigued by every episode. At first I didn’t understand the format, once I did I looked forward to what was around the corner and couldn’t stop telling my husband all the stories. Truly high light of my listening this year!

So fascinating! I want more!

As an R.N., I worked in mental health for the majority of my my career. I was also diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as an adult. What I didn’t know could fill a book! I learned so much about myself, family members and past patients from this first podcast. I am so grateful for a friend who is an excellent psychiatrist, who diagnosed me and got me on the road to better health. This first podcast also answered a question I had always had about my grandfather’s hallucinations. I can’t say enough good things about the benefits of the information. Please give it a listen if you are dealing with any neuro diverse issues in your life. I don’t think you will be disappointed. CM

I found this presentation helpful regarding mental health issues and how our childhood experiences affect our lives. A concise description that is helpful regardless of one’s background. Thank you

enlightening.

When the last episode finished knew I was going to be giving the titles of both Oliver and Indre that are in my library another listen. It would be so nice if there are additional seasons/episodes in the future , I can only hope.

This series could have been so much longer

Enjoyed this series on sensory issues. I have read most of the books by Sacks and utilized his research in the classes I teach.

So happy to have discovered Indre Viskonstas, who narrates/investigates the life and work of master storyteller/neuroscientist Oliver Sacks. This was a delightful binge listen, couldn’t turn it off. Most thought provoking listen that has the feel and episodic rhythm of radio lab and this American life.

Incredibly engaging storytelling
