Change my view on myself

I love this book. I'm myself a highly sensitive person and I can really see myself in the way this book lays out the personality traits of a sensitive person. It made me understand myself better, but most impotently, it made me understand why I've always felt misunderstood by others. It has in some was given me the power to forgive myself for reacting differently than others and to forgives other people for not understanding me.

Great content, cannot stand the narrator’s voice

The information in this book has been invaluable to me to no end. As an HSP with sensitivities to sounds though, please please please consider using a different narrator for future books. Her over-enunciated and snobby sounding voice almost made me not able to listen to the full book.

interesting and valuable read

the performance was good. it felt like she was very caring and understanding, like a good teacher.

there are many valuable tips in here for living with a sensitive temperament in one's self or a significant other. I only give three stars for the story, though, because at many times it read like an advertisement for Jungian psychotherapy.

Brilliant and life changing

If I had read this book when Elaine Aron wrote it in the 1990’s my life would be better and more successful. I was born an HSP and have experienced many traumas. By listening to this book I find huge value in it. Highly recommended.
