Just when you think you've got all your problems in front of you, trouble comes knocking at the back door...galactic style.

Beginning the Star Force Phase 2 timeline, the Mak'to'ran serial details the defeated V'kit'no'sat fleet commander's days following the attack on Earth and the fallout within the Dinosaur empire that results from it. For as bad as the treason regarding the Humans and the bastardized Hadarak is, and the implications that one of the two founding V'kit'no'sat races are behind it, a much larger rift within the empire is being exposed that has the potential to do what neither the Zak'de'ron culling nor the Rit'ko'sor rebellion accomplished. A full Dinosaur civil war.

Follow a core group of characters known as the Trailblazers as they use alien technology and knowledge discovered in Antarctic ruins to obtain limited immortality and lead Humanity out into the galaxy, encountering, befriending, and fighting hundreds of alien races, all the while desperately trying to prepare Earth for the unbeatable threat at the core of the Milky Way that is destined to return and reclaim their lost colony...and their former Human slaves.

Zen'zat are now hunted across the galaxy due to the death mark placed upon them by the Zak'de'ron...but it doesn't just apply to the elite warriors. It is also laid upon the Ter'nat colonies that spawned them, and the V'kit'no'sat have little resources...or the will left to defend them.

Esna Donovan was stranded on a planet full of people that didn't look like her as a child along with her brother. Their father was murdered, leaving them sitting in their spaceship waiting for his return. They remember almost nothing from before that time, when two Calavari who were business associates of their father took them in and told them they could never be seen outside their full body armor. They've honored their father's dying wish, living and working on the Calavari's farm while exploring the barren wastelands looking for bits of technological salvage.

Jessica Avril, the Ice Queen of Eoxion, is one of many Star Force monarchs given new realms when their former ones fell early in the V'kit'no'sat War. Now, the multiple star systems under her guidance lie far from the fighting, while harboring a secret project regarding humanity's future on the orders of Director Davis himself...the creator and head monarch of the Star Force empire who recruited her long ago. But her quiet little realm is soon to see the ravages of the V'kit'no'sat War.

Even in the middle of a never-ending war, new captains have to be minted, and the quality of your coming reinforcements will determine the outcome of future battles.

Paul's mission in Andromeda comes to an end and he must reluctantly return to the Deebees to oversee their critical early development...but on the way back he goes nightcrawler hunting, rescuing the last pieces of the Progarren civilization that the previous Gauntlet War failed to eradicate, as this one is only beginning to escalate.

The galaxy is a massively large and complex place, but the most critical points in it are in the Core and known as the "Gateways", for they are the gravitational anchors that allow for intergalactic travel and are located in the densest region of the galaxy where the monster-like Megaloids exist en mass.

The day of the Zak'de'ron's leaving is here at last....

Star Force has existed for 156,000 years, risen beyond a galactic empire of dinosaurs intent on wiping out humanity only to face an intergalactic scourge known as the Hadarak. They've rescued thousands of alien races and incorporated them into their human-led empire, building a civilization that draws onlookers from numerous galaxies to try and figure out the secret of their success.

Gaining greater responsibilities, Mak'to'ran continues his push to reforge the V'kit'no'sat empire while uncovering yet another mystery of the past.

Star Force is beyond frustrated by the continuing Vargemma attacks, but until a trailblazer or other Essence wielder can find a way to reach the Paladin, the portals will remained closed to the outside and the enemy will continue to be able to strike the empire with impunity.

Paul and Sara must find their way out of Gamma Temple, but they're not going to leave empty-handed.

Eldorat's attack and death in Itaru have affected the flow of galactic events in a way no one anticipated, and the fallout from that first contact is now crushing both the V'kit'no'sat and the Zak'de'ron. All the while, the Hadarak begin to encroach on their territory with little resistance.

The Zak'de'ron take note of the Rit'ko'sor joining Star Force, making contact, and making their wishes known...but in the process, they make a critical mistake that will forever alter their relationship with the trailblazers.

Mak'to'ran travels to the Hjar'at with information regarding the altered Hadarak and the alliance of extremely advanced races that Star Force has amassed...only to find even more treachery amongst the very militant Stegosauruses.

Death averted, mysteries revealed, and an entirely different challenge to face for the kings and queens of troubleshooting.

The temporary truce between Star Force and the V'kit'no'sat sends shockwaves throughout the galaxy. No one has ever defied the V'kit'no'sat and lived, but now Star Force has and many races are taking notice...including one that no one expects, on either side.
