Olivia Sudjic is the author of Sympathy, a debut novel about obsession and the uneasy relationship between technology and intimacy. Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his narration of the classic Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist is Welsh actor Jonathan Pryce. Dickens' second published novel, Oliver Twist, has been adapted numerous times. Following orphan Oliver from the workhouse to the streets of London, he meets a pickpocket known as the Artful Dodger, who offers him shelter. There we meet Fagin, Nancy and Bill Sikes. Joining us at Audible Studios is Kerry Daynes, an English forensic psychologist and consultant who has worked as an expert witness and within the family law courts as well as opening her own private practices. Daynes has released her new book, The Dark Side of the Mind: True Stories from My Life as a Forensic Psychologist. Kerry Dayes has worked in maximum security prisons and secure hospitals, working alongside some of the most complex and challenging criminals and victims of crime.

Lupton studied literature at Cambridge University, graduating in 1986. After graduating, she wrote for Literary Reviews and was invited to join the Royal Court Theatre. During this time, Lupton won a television play competition and earned herself a job as a screenwriter. While her husband, a doctor, was working all hours, Lupton decided that as an author she could write around her kids being at school. So, after much work, her first novel, Sister, was published. We chatted to Rosamund Lupton about her career as a writer and author and how she creates such thrilling reads.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Alex Michaelides, a Hollywood screenwriter, who has released his debut thriller The Silent Patient. We spoke about his novel in which a devoted and loving wife suddenly shoots her husband five times, and never speaks another word.
