"Samvetskval" är en fredsnovell från 1884 skriven av August Strindberg som följer huvudpersonen von Bleichrodens inre kamp mot sig själv.

Böttiger machte sich mit seinen Schriften in Weimar so unbeliebt, dass er 1804 die Stadt verlassen musste.
