“Wisdom hath built her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars” of support. So declared the book of Proverbs (9:1), whose author was Solomon, the wise King of Israel. Covenant or contract is an important theme in the Bible. God made covenants with His people. He deals with them according to the covenants He made with them. Today we are under God’s New Covenant. For all God’s dealings with us in addition to our dealings with God will be governed by this New Covenant. We are therefore called to have New Covenant Living as well as New Covenant Ministry. It is hence extremely essential for us to be sure that our living and ministry are of the New Covenant way.

Stephen Kaung goes through seven visions of Christ that are revealed in the book of Revelation. All of the prophecies given are meant to bring us to the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 19:10). The many and varied details are simply part of the background to the sight of Christ. God also wants us to not only see Christ but to see Him in light of our current time, the end of days. With vision, we will no longer "cast off restraint" (Proverbs 29:18) but will instead be transformed and enabled to help bring in His kingdom.

Shepherding is one of the important functions in the church. It is not only one of the gifted people whom God gives to the church for the perfecting of the saints (see Ephesians 4:11-12 where pastors should be shepherds) It is also one of the main functions of the elders of the church (see I Peter 5:1). Of the one hundred and fifty Psalms, there are twelve attributed to the sons of Korah. They were special Psalms to be sung by special people.
