Holidays in Hallbrook

Garrett Bradley commands the attention of some of the most influential clients in the country as one of the leading corporate attorneys in New York City, but one phone call changes everything. He must return home to Hallbrook, NH, where he soon discovers he’s responsible for three young kids and one monster-sized Saint Bernard.

Dr. Jake Duncan is a busy man — what with being the local doctor, a member of the rescue squad, a volunteer with the GiddyUp Kids program, and most importantly, raising his young hearing-impaired son, there’s not much time for anything else. Especially not an event planner who comes to town looking to stir up trouble for one of the few men he considers a close friend, retired pro bull rider, Chad Andrews.

Sam Wyatt goes to a cabin in Hallbrook each year at Christmas, looking for solitude with the memories of his wife and daughter who he lost in a car accident, a few years ago. Except, not long after he arrives, Megan Langley and her daughter take up residence and refuse to leave. A quick call to the rental agent, and Sam finds out the cabin has been double-booked, and he's kicked out to the snowy cold. But when an avalanche closes Tinsel Pass, he’s forced to return to the cabin.

The Sweeter Side of Life bakery in Hallbrook is in financial trouble, and Amanda is determined to save the business her mother started 20 years ago. While honoring February Fool’s Day, Amanda’s name for the lovey-dovey holiday, she learns about the Anything Chocolate contest and is determined to win the cash prize. There’s only two drawbacks; one, it’s a statewide contest and the competition will be fierce, and two, she’s not a big fan of chocolate.

Grace is all set to start her new job, at least she was until her cousin drops by hoping she’ll take care of her 1-year-old daughter for a few weeks. Unable to have children of her own, Grace is tempted. The opportunity to have a baby around, even if only for a short time, is too hard to ignore - especially after her recent rejection by the adoption agency. With her sister’s promise to babysit, the pieces fall into place and Grace accepts. This Mother’s Day she’ll have a baby, even if it’s temporary.

After a bad divorce, Ashley returns to Hallbrook with her four-year-old son to regroup and start over. When her apartment catches fire and the fire department is called in, one of the first responders is David, her older brother’s best friend, and the man who dumped her without any reason when they dated in high school. She accepts his offer of a place to stay, knowing she could trust him with anything other than her heart.

Sergeant Sierra Winters’ life is the military, but when an injury sustained in Afghanistan leaves her future in jeopardy, she must reevaluate everything she believes. Noah Jackson, a nurse at the Veteran’s hospital, works hard for his patients and is trying to put his life back together after a painful divorce. Sierra’s visit leads to lots of trouble, but sometimes it’s trouble that finally points you in the right direction. Will Sierra stick to what she knows - deeds over heart - or will she learn that love and honor are what matter most?

Let the battle begin...A 30th birthday is a landmark, but Zoe is crushed when everyone - including her nine-year-old son - seems to forget it. Of course, she has no idea about the surprise party, or the even more surprising birthday kiss from her best friend’s brother and secret high school crush, Blake Peterson.
