About this listen

The family-run Green Mountain Country Store is cherished by locals as a reminder of simpler times. The Abbott children are determined to keep it that way - but their father has different plans….

When Cameron Murphy heads to Vermont to build a website for a new client, she imagines a more relaxing trip than she gets. After wrecking her car by colliding with the town moose, she meets the most handsome hero she’s ever seen. Unfortunately, her savior, Will Abbott, is also the son of her client - and he wants nothing to do with the new website or the city girl creating it.

For all Will cares, Cameron can march her fancy boots right out of town and out of his family’s business. But he can’t seem to get her out of his head. And as his family’s dispute heats up, so does the chemistry between the two, leaving them wondering if simple is better after all - especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

BEGINNING OF A GREAT SERIES!

I enjoyed this first installment in what promises to be a great series. Kate Rudd is not my favorite narrator but I must give her credit...she does a wonderful job of distinguishing the voices of so many different characters. It's amazing to hear her do a male vs female voice. Not my favorite narrator...but absolutely no complaints. This is a credit well worth spending.

Kate Rudd was good with different voices however she over enunciates every word which I found wearing.

Story is sweet up lifting.

I love the books. But the narrator. I didn’t like. Her voice made then all seem snotty Entitled people instead of just every day hard-working people.

Hate the Narrator

She's horrible and I hope she polishes her performance or improves or something. She's just not a good narrator.

Story and narration were sub par

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not really, but since I work from home and listen to a lot of books, I went ahead and finished it. The story was too happy...I like to read some of these romance novels, but this was just too over the top with everyone being happy the entire time. It also seemed like she was rushing the book by trying to introduce so many characters.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I don't know, but I probably won't read another Marie Force for several months, and I won't ever read another book narrated by Kate Rudd.

How could the performance have been better?

She was incredibly monotone and at times seemed to be talking to fast and rushing through the book. She doesn't appear to have a broad range when it comes to the different voices.

Was All You Need Is Love worth the listening time?

No

Mountain love!

What made the experience of listening to All You Need Is Love the most enjoyable?

I love great audio books for when i'm driving, working around the house and when my eyes are just tired from reading too much. I tend to buy my favorite authors on audio, like Marie Force, so I can listen over and over.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I fell in love with the whole family but especially Will and Elmer.

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

I enjoy Kate Rudd. She makes the characters come to life with unique voice changes and mannerisms.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many great moments in this story! I loved when Molly met Cam and she just accepted her like she new she needed a mother and family.

Any additional comments?

Marie makes every character so real, so unique but always united by love, friends and family.

My first Marie Force

I just found Marie Force and will be listening again. This is a good story--a little mushy at times but still good. I look forward to the next family member to hook up. I hope it comes soon. Love families that take care of and think of all the members of the family. Wish a lot more of us would.

Kate Rudd was great--found another narrator that I can listen to more than just one time.
