Melody Green

Melody is a firecracker, yet sweet as candy. She has a best friend of many years named Denzel who is her voice of reason. Melody is very tenacious when something does not feel right. Melody witnesses a man being hit by a car and later finds out that he was actually running away from a murder scene of a young neighbor. Melody meets a man and finds out the hard way that if something doesn't feel right to her, she has to continue until things make sense. Melody has a gut feeling that the death of the man she saw running, the murders of a young magazine editor and a child are tied.

As Melody and her best friend Denzel prepare themselves for Michael Milhouse's murder trial, unexpected visitors show up on Melody's porch, each with different motives. While Melody's life is in turmoil and her friends are being forced into a life of danger, she has to figure out how to save her friends and also herself from the "Life Clipper".

Old friends Melody and Denzel, along with their new friend Ava, are back in Tamisville, USA, but things are not the same and Melody is determined to make things right. The "Life Clipper" has been chasing behind Melody's every move with threats of harm. Melody's life depends on stopping the "Life Clipper" in their tracks before her friends continue to disappear. Where is Susan? What happened to Adam? Will Melody find it within herself to forgive her mother? What about Ava? Will she ever come to grips with her father's involvement that resulted in Denzel getting injured?

Melody and Denzel legally adopt Ava, giving her a loving and safe home. However, the secrets of Tamisville, KY, are now front and center. Now, Ava must blindly enter the arena of uncertainty. The two feuding crime circles have upped the ante, and both are now dragging the captured (guilty and innocent) to the bottom of The Green Leaf River. Melody is now faced with a new enemy named Einar Enid "Bloody Diablo" Sullivan, Boss of The Elite Exiles crime ring, and he has a major score to settle, although a conflict of interest is blaring in the faces of everyone.
