The Eden House Mysteries

Christmas 1979. Former TV reporter Adam Bailey is invited by his old flame, Harriet, and her husband, Sir Anthony, to Mulgrave Castle for the festivities. He reluctantly accepts, intrigued by their request for him to investigate the family curse. But within hours of arriving, a blizzard rolls in that leaves the castle and its guests stranded. And when one of the visitors is murdered, Adam and Harriet's sister, Eve, set out to solve the crime. After the last known member of the Latimer family dies, his estate is put up for sale - except for the prized stables, inherited by racehorse trainer Barbara Lewis. When Barbara's estranged husband is murdered, she becomes the prime suspect and appeals to Adam Bailey and her friend, Eve Samuels, for help. But as they investigate, more people are killed and soon Barbara and Eve find themselves in grave danger. As the clock ticks, Adam races to rescue them. Can justice prevail, or will the grim prophecy of the rhyme come true again?

1965 - the heyday of rock & roll. Northern Lights are tipped to become as big as The Beatles. But after a gig in Newcastle, lead singer and creative genius Gerry Crowther vanishes into the foggy night. Later, his body is recovered from the River Tyne. Now, almost 20 years on, teen singing sensation Trudi Bell dominates the charts. As she prepares to release a new album, her manager, Lew Pattison, receives a demo tape from an unknown songwriter.

Stephen Pengelly, owner of Barton Manor, is detested by the local community. When he is found murdered, there are few tears - but many suspects. Soon, the police have their work cut out identifying a murder weapon like no other, capable of inflicting terrible injuries. When Adam Bailey is asked to help, he and Eve must discover who has most to gain - and who is prepared to kill, and kill again, to achieve their objective.

Returning from their honeymoon, newly-weds Adam and Eve Bailey are immediately plunged into another investigation - one that poses their biggest challenge yet. After a local art dealer is found stabbed to death behind the local cricket pavilion, another killing swiftly follows. Meanwhile, Reverend Michael Phillips, vicar of the local church, is beset with problems. Since the disappearance of a rare painting that hung there, his parishioners believe the church's Lady Chapel to be haunted.
