Painfully bad

A caveat - I didn't listen to this whole thing; I really tried, but I had to stop after about 5 minutes. Judging by the part I struggled through, the 'erotic' bit probably wouldn't be very erotic.

Speaking of eroticism, unless this story covers several months or features rapid gestation at some point, it is only a pregnancy erotica in the technical sense (i.e. it DOES involve a woman who is pregnant, but she seems too early in her pregnancy for it to matter).
If memory servers, there WAS a single clumsy mention of her being extra curvy, but it was so forgettable I'm not sure it existed; even if this story were well-written, I think it would disappoint both preggo /and/ BBW fans.

Sadly, it is not well-written. Topics do not flow naturally. Words and phrases are combined in odd, sometimes nonsensical ways. Details change from paragraph to paragraph. The characters do not behave consistently from paragraph to paragraph, and they don't behave consistently with HUMAN BEINGS. Best example: the woman decides to invite a stranger to coffee and seduce him - only along the way do we learn that she is in debt to her boss and being extorted for blow jobs, sex, bondage/rape/beatings, or possibly all of the above. Oh yeah, and she's pregnant from his sexual assault. After she tells her stranger this, he is still somehow OK with going to her house for sex, and he wishes he could help with her little sexual-assault/extortion problem, finally deciding that the solution is to pay off her debt to her boss...somehow.

I tried to stick with it, even though I had a feeling a sex scene between them was likely to be a train wreck. Then the story started going on and on about how she really liked the color black because it was the color of night and she wanted to be a mistress of the night because...something about life starting out easy but getting all dark and so she wanted to be of the dark...or something? Honestly,I had to stop at that point. I can only take so much badly phrased purple prose before I start to die inside.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
