As a member since 2012, my first ever complaint,
the story line was good, kept me listening until Elizabeth began.
The narrater Mason Lloyd was wonderful, but the narrater Elizabeth Heart, she sounded sour, flat, no emotion in her voice she had a hoarseness in her voice that annoyed me,(may-be just me!)
I could only get 1/2 through book and turned it off and will not finish rest of book. so sad too, as the story line was
good, a change from other story i listen too.
but if u have no problem listening to her, by all means get the book great story line.

I finished listening to this yesterday and I wanted to sit on my thoughts before I left a review. It was not a bad listen, but it wasn’t amazing either. Nothing really sat with me after. I enjoyed the concept and the blurb, that is what prompted me to buy this, but I just kind of found my mind wandering while listening.

Both protagonists are written and performed as imbeciles and the author did no research into this type of club, culture, or s work…or Bit Coin and other forms of investment.

Terrible casting for the male protagonist, as he sounds exactly like the far side of middle age in the 1980s or geriatric men currently. He’s supposed to be a young man who inherited his money and was super cool and invested it in Bit Coin, because he knows all about this new thing called the internet…except the internet wasn’t new at that time, children bought Bit Coin, and this man is far from young sounding or behaving.

He sounds exactly like the gross old clients who inherited their money, are into kink, and can afford the lawyers to get them off when they pay for intercourse.

The author did nail it that this kind of work can be a good income, but it’s only in cities with high rent…so things level out and one works minimally 4 days a week and it’s a lot of acting…for pro dommes and subs who are working in the seedier life of that field. One can work legally in most places, the others can’t in nearly all places in the states.

Poorly written. Poorly acted.

This is a BDSM of the mind. With that said there is more sex than story building / line. I feel there could have been more meat but just fell short.
