About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author E. K. Blair comes a compelling love story threaded within the complex world of sex addiction.

Kason and Adaline.

From the moment they meet, they start to fall. Neither of them predict just how far the drop will be, though.

Loving Adaline is all Kason has ever wanted to do. But Kason has a secret.

He's an addict.

A sex addict.

Layer by layer, he starts to unravel, forcing Adaline to face the world he's kept hidden.

What happens when one person loves beyond the craving and the other craves beyond the loving?

This was a new author to me. I bought this audiobook based on the blurb and narrators and was very surprised at how well written it was. There are very sensitive trigger issues in this story, so be forewarned if that could bother you. The hero of the story has a problem with a sex addiction and the heroine is a naive girl who just moved into the school district. They meet her first day of school and after a bit they become inseparable. There are a lot of problems between them regarding sex and intimacy that they have to work out. This book ended in a HUGE cliffhanger! Narration was excellent and I hope the author produces the next audiobook very soon! It is one of those OMG cliffhangers, lol.

Need next audiobook ASAP!!

No matter how many times I have listened (about 6 or 7 times) to this story, it gets better and better and better......you don't want to miss it!
Oh ! You have to listen to " CRAVE two" to know the conclusion to the story.

CRAVE

Oh my god!!! This book was just WOW!! Not at all what I expected!!!

EK Blair is a mastermind! She writes like her words are made of gold!! It's magical and ridiculously creative! This story is like nothing I've ever read before. The emotional ride tore at my heartstrings. I cried and yelled, screamed and shouted. Everything I could feel and emotions I didn't know I possessed were all there digging at me with vicious claws and sparks of electricity!

Every feeling imaginable will run through your blood, pumping and feeding your need to read more more more.

I felt it all. I'm telling you, I was ripped to shreds with this story.

I literally just finished this book and my heart is POUNDING!!!!!

I have a pit in my stomach from the emotional rollercoaster this book put me through.

A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!

Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe were fantastic!!

Jacob Morgan had me in tears with his performance as Kason.

I swear this book is EPIC!!!

EK BLAIR IS UNSTOPPABLE!!!!

Adaline is one of the dumbest girls ever. She went to far with the situation. She needed to tell KASON. I FEEL SO BAD FOE HIM.
How could KASON get angry when it wasn’t her fault. Dumb story. She took it to far. Shit happens hurtful things but you make yourself get over them. Get back to life.

Dumbest girl ever

I really enjoyed this book. A much deeper book than I expected. The characters are developed well and the story is pretty realistic, from all the craziness in high school and the different values in different parts of the country and how kids were raised.
There are some pretty messed up, but serious, themes here too. Lots of cheating and family issues. Both Kason and Adeline seem like good kids. Addie is incredibly sheltered and naive, where Kason is almost the polar opposite. He had a tough life growing up, and Addie is just starting to have challenges.
Their blossoming relationship was enjoyable, except when Addie was too judgmental (but then again, she is a sheltered teenager). Kason is really dealing with a LOT for someone his age.
The only part of the book that was annoying was the very end and Addie’s absolute ignorance of the world. You could see that coming a mile away, and that made it annoying. I am, however, looking forward to how she and Kason deal with it.
Both Elena and Jacob are fantastic narrators, two of my favorites, in fact. And they certainly didn’t disappoint. Would have liked to hear the more emotional parts from Kason’s POV too. We all know Elena rocks at getting all the feels across. Great job by both!

Sweet, with very serious issues.

This book sucked me in from the very beginning and kept me interested until the end. I'm so glad I have part 2 already downloaded and ready to be listened to because the ending has a big cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see how it all ends. I really connected with the characters and loved the dual POV with Adaline and Kason. The narration was excellent. Jacob and Elena are two of my favorite narrators. They do an amazing job bringing the characters to life. I highly recommend this book!

Loved it!

I wasn't sure if I would like this because the characters start out in high school. I've enjoyed many E.K Blair book's but never a YA. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. The characters were interesting enough for me to want to keep listening. The childish drama that normally accompanies most YA listens was low. This book has very adult situations in it. If you have issues with sex addiction, cheating, and rape this probably isn't the book for you. I enjoyed this book so much that I listened straight through. Be fair warned though, you will have to part with 2 credits because part 1 abruptly ends & Part 2 picks up where it ends.

I bought Crave 2 immediately after listening!!

I enjoyed this book. Kason a boy who thought he was from the wrong side of the tracks and Addie a privileged young woman, but was sweet and unassuming fall for each other from the day they met. Till Addie is devastated by what she feels is Kasons betrayal of their love. After several weeks Kason enlightens Addie with his reasons, they resume the relationship against her friends wishes, but The Heart will have what the Heart wants.
This is not a typical E. K. Blair story, this was more a young adult read, but it deals with a topic that could go into any age category.

Not your typical EK Blair book

If you are looking for romance and heart lifting story, this one is not for you. I had a hard time listening to this story as the H is a sex addict. I managed to finish this story. Even though, it took me several days to do so. This story was depressing and the end didn’t redeem the H. Sad that the h chose him instead of Mica( not sure if this is correct). Hope the h get herself tested since the H can’t stop having sex with any ho.. gross!

Not heart lifting story
