She's abducted from Earth and sold into slavery. Can love break the chains that bind her?

Grabbed from the street in broad daylight, Briony is soon sold to a cruel alien leader who needs human women for a very specific purpose.

They must "recharge" the vicious warriors he forces to fight in his arena.

Given to the best fighter in the section, she finds she has arrived in the middle of a secret escape plan.

She is surprised to find herself attaching to the handsome alien fighter, and puts everything she can into their risky run for freedom.

Will she make it out alive? Maybe. Will she make it out unchanged? Absolutely not.

Big Surprise!

I like a good sci-fi book, when I occasionally find one. This was it. Totally different subject matter. Very well narrated.

Captured and Claimed

I really liked the plot of the storyline but it left me very confused. Some parts I found really weird and awkward. Not really sure how I felt about this story.
Loved the narration. Justine O. Keef is one of my favorite narrators.

Okay, I must write 🫣

Usually just leave stars but here I go. There’s not a lot of depth but the story is good. To die for sex scenes, and love. I’m thinking I’ll continue this series.

Hidden gem

If you like sexy gladiator lion men, and graphic sexy times, then I definitely have a story for you. This is the first in the series. I’m not certain if they stories are connected yet. I did enjoy the writing style, and although not long enough for a slow burn build up, the story definitely has appeal.

new author for me

This was a new author for me. I didnt read the summary before I bought it. So I stated listening to it without any preconceived notions. At first I was unsure what to think, but after listening to the end, I must say that truly enjoyed it and will be continuing on to Book 2

Magical, healing hoohas

Even for alien romance, the eyeroll was too much. Earth women heal Zyrnx males when they plug their Johnsons into their lady bits?! She lusts for him and loves him before he says ten words to her?!

There’s little camp or comedy; instead it’s a space gladiator story with an emphasis on ladies being kept naked, afraid and abused. It’s over a third of the way through before Taal says one phrase and over two thirds of the way through before he manages a few sentences. If you like the strong silent type, this will work. Me? I need dialogue to buy into the instant connection. I found the sex to be perfunctory, maybe because it happened early and often, or maybe because the healing-hooha thing made it seem like a pervy business transaction.

It wasn’t horrible. I was interested in the other MCs introduced here and eventually warmed to Taal as a lionish-alien. I enjoyed it enough that I’ll listen to the free ones and might be willing to get the remaining ones on sale.

Very neutral about this book

The story was ok, the romance scenes were the best but storyline was a bit boring.
