My family was never supposed to meet my fake fiancee. Except she just walked into my hospital room, looking just as surprised as I am.
All because of one white lie. They think we’ve been together for a year, but I only met her last night.
I panicked after my father didn’t name me as the next CEO of our family’s billion-dollar company. His reasoning was that “I care *too* much about work”. In fact, the whole small town we live in thinks I’m too rigid and too serious.
I just need to convince everyone I can loosen up and enjoy myself.
They might believe the lie, but I know what happens when I get distracted.
Besides, Ivy is too young for me and too bright & optimistic about the world.
It’s only supposed to be for a month. She’ll live with me and I’ll put up with her teasing.
I can’t let myself fall in love with my fiancee no matter how tempting her smart mouth...
But when she calls me “Daddy”, I know I’m ruined for anyone else.
Don't Call Me Daddy is a laugh-out-loud, scorching hot romantic comedy set in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains and is the first in a brand new series following the five Kingsley brothers. Tropes:
• Small Town in the Appalachian Mountains
• Grumpy Billionaire CEO
• Age/Gap
• Fake Engagement
• Daddy Dom/Brat Vibes
• Grumpy/Sunshine
• Checklist Adventure Annoyances to Lovers

It’s about 5 hours too long. “I dream of doing X to her, but I can’t… repeat over and over. Characters flat.
As advertised

About the story: sad at the start, but you see Ivy grow as person as the story progresses. Leo is emotionally mature and supportive of Ivy’s goals. Leo also matures as a character and responds well to Ivy’s encouragement and feedback and is able to attain his goals, no matter how underhanded his method was at the beginning. As with all romance books, there’s a satisfying HEA. What I love about this ending is that there’s no mention of the couple’s children, and now that I think of it, everyone in the story is an adult, which is EXCELLENT.
Narrators made the story 🤌🏻🤌🏻

The way Ivy and Leo banter with each other is so much fun, and Leo tries so hard to not let it get to him but bless his heart it does not work. Even though she seems chaotic and flighty, Ivy can be incredibly organized and effective and she is also actively working through grief, and all of her backstory and everything gives her a depth that makes you really feel for her. Leo is so uptight and under control that he gives himself an ulcer, but is incredibly caring and sweet under the strict outer layer and is oh so sexy.
This was narrated in duet style which is my favorite, and the narrators did such a good job capturing Ivy’s sunshine-y chaos and Leo’s exasperation and attempts to be in control. I loved this, and I will 100% be listening to more by these narrators and reading more from this author!!
