About this listen

Tuk-Palteia Liam has survived the front lines of a civil war and a return visit to his home planet, but now he has to face the ultimate obstacle. Stubborn lovers.

As long as Liam and Ondry have the same goals - the pursuit of profits and status - they are the perfect partnership. But now Ondry wants to protect his palteia at any cost, even if it costs him his newly won rank. Liam hates the idea of Ondry sacrificing for him, and he is not going to allow Ondry to lose status under any circumstances. Add in the Imshee, a predatory companion animal, a new human, and an obstinate Grandmother, and Liam has the recipe for a serious headache. Despite what Ondry believes, not all problems can be solved with a good trade, a tail, or a flash of tooth. This time, Liam and Ondry are going to need to find a compromise.

Contains mature themes.

Great to See Them Back

What I love most about this series is how every new challenge and adventure strengths Liam & Ondry's bond instead of driving them apart just to reconnect again. And the new oddities about each other's planet and background they learn about each other. It's a really rich universe and I enjoyed very much this new installment and the narrator performances for each character.

A Beautiful Series!

Some of the episodes in this series are hotter than others, and this one is smoking! hot.

It's not just the beautiful chemistry Lyn Gala builds between Liam and Ondry, it's the way their mutal affection and devotion comes out in every exchange. Such a powerful love story, it's really something special.

Lyn Gala also writes stunning science fiction, and the world they build here is spectacular. Complex, and thoroughly thought out, it's an absolutely pleasure to read this series.

the dog

the dog doesn't die, but something weird happens to him . just be aware that he's ok.

otherwise I loved this series. It probably should have been boring, but.... between the world building and the characters....it just works.

I do actually have a question about why Ondry seemed to have been raised by his mother even though it would seem that it's traditional to drop egglings on a dad's doorstep.

The Color of One's Pillows Should be Know Only to Oneself

I am going to miss Liam and Ondry. And saying good bye , it's bittersweet.

I wish for more books but alas , this is #4 , the final one ; and it is the perfect ending for an unforgettable series.

I am also, going to miss listening John Solo narrate new trading opportunities, travels and adventures for Liam , Ondry , the Grandmothers and all the others characters he perfectly and memorably brought to life in this four books series.
In this book, a new alien race is introduced and its highlight his uncanny ability with tone , inflection and pace ; as his performance of the IImshee was brilliant.

A big part of why , I find the Claimings Series so entertaining, spellbinding and addictive is John Solo narration and characters portrayal. He is a master of his craft.

"After wiggling around, Liam found the perfect position, and Ondry curled around him. As he was falling asleep, Liam felt Ondry’s tail wrap around his left leg. Maybe life wasn’t perfect, but Liam liked the thought that at the end of a bad day, he could come home to Ondry. "

Thanks you Lyn Gala for giving us this amazing story .

Your imagination and creativity let me enjoy traveling to Prarownt , meet the Rownt , cuddle in a nest full of colorful pillows , wish to be a Paletia to Ondry and have nightmares about meeting IImshee, and so many more.

I know, Claimings is a series I will listen again and again.

The world Gala created is so very interesting

I read the entire series and it was fun. The technical aspects of love between different species was handled well. I just felt like the last part of this book was rushed. Otherwise great book
