About this listen

No one ever said not to bite the hand that unlocks your cage.

Faith Robins has been torn away from her brother, kept captive by an omega trafficking ring, and auctioned to the highest bidder. But when fate twists a new key in her lock, she finds herself in the care of an alpha named Bear, safe for the first time in ages.

She’s lost in this new world, surrounded by strange men, but she has claws now. And she’s prepared to dig them in and hold onto safety, no matter the cost.

The Dead End Devils aren’t a pack. They aren’t Boy Scouts. And if their prez, King, has his way, they’re getting rid of this broken and terrified woman at the first chance. Before she can tear their club apart.

This is one of my favorite series! Every installment is perfection! Great spice, great voice actors, great characters and character growth. No notes!

This is my favorite story of the series and these narrators do a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. I loved Faiths journey and growth, and love the vibrancy and variety of her pack.

Review:
This is a story of a feral omega who was being trafficked. She was found by Bear, Ghost, Chance and King which are part of a MC club. Now she is in a new world that’s is hard for her to understand but she gets the hang of it. Now, I really like the way they brought out the FMC and changed her for the better. I like bear and chance, my hearts always. King he grow on me but not my favorite. And as for ghost I honestly didn’t think he was needed. But they all have their part and there know personally which I really liked. All in all I would recommend this story.

Enjoyed

I’d been waiting for this since “Bad Alpha .” I was not disappointed. Faith had her own story but I was happy to see the family all together later on. Happy listening.

This is the fourth book I have listened to in the series. It will probably be my last. Although I do enjoy stories and the world building was good I think I’m over the sex, really over it. Also I do like characters from previous installments to appear in subsequent books and that did not happen here. Honestly I would not have purchased this installment if I knew I was sick of two much sex.

Sweet Onegaverse.

Story was good. Harmon Dey was great like always. This female narrator was terrible though. It sounded like she was trying to be a news anchor or Maryann Esposito from the cooking network. She used a weird mid Atlantic cadence that took me completely out of the story and had me focusing on her voice instead of the character. PIA. It took me 5 tries to get through the book.

Story line was good. Female narrator terrible

I loved this whole series with Lola and the millionaires my definite favorite. I love the character development Kathryn Moon puts into her stories. Sometimes that part can get overlooked by authors. This story was a great tie up to the whole sweet verse series Kathryn has created. I kind of hope she will come back to this series sometime in the future and do a mash up of all her packs in some way but I’m just a big fan of this series. Great read, the female narrator was a little meh on this audio book but love me some Jarmin Day. Way to go!

Great finale

While the storyline was excellent, the female narrator was horrible. She sounded like Siri for the majority of the book and made me want to quit listening to it multiple times. If you can get past that this book is for you!

I like Kathryn moon— her books are always fun and spicy. This one just missed the mark for me. It felt like she skipped over some important information that could have set the book up for success. She chose to keep too much plot implied and focus on the smut.

The world she built was too vague, leaving me confused as to where this is set, when, and if this a world full of these werewolf(?) people(?).

I thought it was strange they never actually shift into a creature it’s just a lot of growling and alpha talk. I would have preferred the shift between human and animal. To give it more distinct lines between the two. The FMC was in dog-brain mode for a lot of the book, making her really unrelatable and honestly kind of pathetic. The blurred lines between dog(?) werewolf(?) and human grossed me out.

I could have overlooked those things if there was an actual plot or a crux to this story. I understand that this girl just wanted to be free but she did nothing to achieve that herself. Once she was safe with the devils, she gave up. Her story was over. Did she try to look for her brother? No. Did she try to take down the trafficking ring that stole her? No. She didn’t really do anything but become a horny mess.

I think I missed the point of this book or I just couldn’t find it. It felt like 14 hours of motorcycle club porn with an unlikable FMC. Wouldn’t spent a credit on this again!

The plot was lost in the porn
