This was an enjoyable and short little piece of paranormal erotica. There wasn’t too much of a plot but the story was set up in a way that it was easy to follow and believe. There was a surprising amount of detail in Zara’s backstory in my opinion considering the story’s length.

I think the narrator did a wonderful job with the narration. I would just have preferred her to have used a different tone or voice for the males’ parts.

This is a short novella audio. My first listen from this author. I had to get it once I saw who the narrator was. I had to get it since Meghan Kelly was telling it.

Meghan once is phonominal She did all the part great of Reese so perfect. And Zara she nailed it.

What happens when Zara’s father runs off with not only Reese’s secretary but also the protection only. When Reese comes calling how will Zara deal with it

Quick sexy story that left the door open for more. The story was pretty good. Zara’s b@stard of a father left her and her brother with a rather large debt from his fight club. The father fled and left them to take the fall. Logan comes to collect the debt and Zara does not have the funds to pay him. She pays in other ways. He wants more until the debt is settled. Logan turns out to be nicer than what he first appears. Meghan Kelly did a great a job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This title is super short but it defiantly wets the apatite for more!

Zara Hunter is in a bind. Her father ran off with the money she owes Reese and it’s A LOT. She fears for her and her bother’s life and is prepared to beg if that’s what keeps them both alive. She isn’t prepared for the payment he requests!

Logan Reese controls all the shifter fight clubs in the city and not someone you want to make an enemy of. He is prepared to crack some skulls until he comes face to face with Zara. She makes his Lion purr! Logan doesn’t just want her, he NEEDS her! He makes her an offer she can’t refuse and HOT times ensue! My only complaint is that the rest is not in audio yet.

Mina Carter is a goddess of the paranormal romance genre. Her stories while short pack a huge punch directly to the heart. This book is no exception. It is short, but wow it hit my heart hard and fast. Her shifter characters are beautifully complex and never fail to take my breath away. I can’t wait to enjoy more this series! It is such a fun release ad escape from life.

The narration was perfect for this story. It showcased all the subtleties of Mina’s stories and made her amazing characters shine. What a great performance!

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

In Debt to tthe King by Mina Carter was a short but interesting story about Zara, the main heroine owing money after her father left the country. Narrated by Meghan Kelly, this short story brings Zara who is attracted to the Lion shifter she owes money to, a compromise -

I couldn’t handle the narration, which was very dainty and a little nasal. A male narrator like Jacob Morgan would have killed it. There was just enough setup to cue the smolder, alpha talk, and the over the desk animal thing. Other than mentioning animal shifting, there’s zero shifting, paranormal, or action other than this King Cat scratching his itch. Yep, this is just the dirty deed. This has a physical happy ending, but any actual HEA awaits a series … which doesn’t appear to exist in Audible format. Just as well, because I wouldn’t move on absent a new narrator.
