About this listen

I was sold to my enemies. And not just my enemies. I was sold to monsters.

I should know all about how to survive monsters, though; I come from a family of them.

We aren't Butchers in name only, and surely the Rossi family can’t be as bad as the devil that’s been destroying me since I was eight years old.

New York City, the powerful head of the Cosa Nostra, is my new home. Where Lucian, Raphael, and Gabriel Rossi now think they own me.

The thing they don't realize is that I'm more than what I seem.

A dahlia has always bloomed best in the light, and even though everything about this place and these men is shrouded in darkness, I’m determined to thrive…to win.

They play a game for keeps, a game where the only rule is that there are no rules.

They want to ruin me. But what disturbs me most is that I just might like it.

It’s me against them, and only time will tell If I'll be the winner or be destroyed in these cruel and merciless Mafia Wars.

Ruining Dahlia is a full-length reverse harem novel in the dark and twisted Mafia Wars world.

Recommended for 18+ due to mature language, adult situations, triggers galore, and sensitive content.

amazing!!

I LOVED Ruining Dahlia!! There is so much to over come and I really enjoyed seeing it all unfold. There are some very hard topics exposed in this book and I believe they were handled beautifully. I really hope we get to see a look back into this world later on. Personally I am obsessed with these guys and the darkness that lives in us all needing to find the right light.

Listening Out Of Order

So I actually ended up listening to this out of order I started with Iris then found my way to this one I was pleased to see that you don't have to listen to them in order because I'm incredibly picky when it comes to narration.
Narration turned out to be excellent.
As for the story check your trigger warnings folks. I was fine but it's definitely got a chunk of content that some may find traumatic.
The smut was okay it just never really got there for me, but I'm a dark smut fiend & I find most books to tame.

Decent story... definitely dark themed

The storyline of this book was pretty good and kept the reader engaged for the most part. I liked Gabriel and thought he was adorable, but Lucian was a POS in my opinion. From what he did to her, or moreso didn't do to her but did in front of her at their engagement dinner, I just couldn't like him at all from that point. That completely ruined his character for me and there wasn't any redeeming him in my mind. And the female lead was super weak. This is a mob book for goodness sake and she grew up in one, regardless of what happened to her. She was weak in the same way writers seem to always make the female weak in these types of books and it's getting old. No matter how terrible the men treat them or what horrible things they do to them, they get over it or "get turned on" immediately because the guy is good looking. That's disgusting and ridiculous. I don't care how hot a guy is, he treats me like crap and he's kicked to the curb. I'd like to read about a strong female lead that at the very least makes them grovel like no other to get back into her good graces. I'd love to see the FMC shoot them down immediately following being treated like crap and completely blow them off and move on with their life until the guy begs and pleads and works his butt off trying to earn back her attention. I'm sick of the women always tripping over themselves to please the guys and getting h*rny for them right after the guys have walked all over them. They're always like "Oh I hate you, but I'm getting w*t because you're so goodlooking and everyone else wants you". Barf. Writers, please give me some strong female leads in some of these at least that don't put up with that crap and it throws the dirt bags for a loop and makes them work for it.

This book had some themes that were very hard to read, so I suggest reading through the TW's before starting.

I'm still giving this book a 4 because it was a decent book and I'm not mad I read it. I don't want to rate this book low just because I'm annoyed that all these writers write pathetic women with no backbone or pride. That wouldn't be fair. The narrator's for the audiobook did a great job and the book was still written fairly well. It did seem like the ending was a little rushed and I would have liked to see further in their future together but it was still decent.

I wish I could give it 100 stars…

This is my favorite book. If there was ever a book I could read and reread, this would be it. I loved it so much when I first read it and couldn’t believe when I saw it had been released on audible! I couldn’t contain my excitement, and it did not disappoint!

Incredible Book and Audiobook!

I just finished this audiobook, and let me tell you, it is freaking amazing! The narrators did such a wonderful job bringing this baby to life!

This is the third fantastic book in the Mafia Wars Series and I can honestly say, I blew through this audiobook, I could not stop! I simply ate this story up, bit by juicy bit! The action, secrets, betrayal, intrigue, emotion, suspense and steam just keeps on coming, to the very end.

Dahlia, Lucian, Gabriel, and Raphael are all incredible characters whose pasts have broken them in some way. This story delves into some pretty dark subjects. All of which, in my opinion, were done in a profound manner that really impacts the story and reader.

I highly recommend this audiobook and cannot wait for the other books in the series to come to audio!

Loved this book!

Ruining Dahlia is one of my all time favorite books and to get to listen to it was incredible! Both narrators did an awesome job! Loved both of their voices.
Dahlia is being sent to the US to marry a man she’s never met. It’s an arrangement that the families have organized to bring peace to all involved.
This is a must read/listen!!
