This was a fun story. I loved the characters and the story flowed well. I am really digging the teamwork of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel! Their voices on this narration were so well done. I loved it!

I want to be on with Vaughn

This is great, I love the concept of the story. Friends to lovers with sex education in the middle. Vaughn has no clue how to exist without Haven running the show. The narration is totally on point, love it.

The Love Doctor

Tor Thom always makes you feel like your watching a movie and joined with the sexy voice of Charley Ongel and magic. Dr. Vaughn Lair needs to use his own advice from his radio show to get the girl who called and turned everything around. The big move from local to satellite radio and from one side of the country to another made him see what was right in his face. Love the story and worth the credit.

Another amazing book by AM Madden and narration by Tor and Charley. Loved the story and the characters as well. Can't wait to get to the next book!!

Not what you would expect

Shock Jock is told completely from Vaughn Lair’s point of view. While the book is written in a male point of view, it does have dual narration. Somehow I missed the release of this book last year so when I discovered it was released on audio it was a no brainer I had to listen to it. I so enjoy this narrating duo of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel as they are an awesome team in bring stories to life. I’m already a huge fan of this author so having this duo team narrate it was a win win for me.
Vaughn wasn’t really what I was expecting him to be. Nor was this book. I can’t really say too much or I’ll end up spoiling things. But I can say this that it was so great to have guest appearances of characters from the authors other books. Vaughn had me laughing with how he felt about New York in the winter compared to California. Even some of his comments on his talk radio show we're hilarious. The narrators did an awesome job bringing this story to life. I could easily picture Vaughn in the studio doing his show. It was a fun and easy story to listen to and I was very surprised about some of the events that just added to this great story. While it may be a lighthearted story there are a few moments of angst and "what the heck" that you will want to slap a few characters over the head. I’m looking forward to more from both this author and narrating duo.

Absolutely perfect narration of a great story!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! The narration is exactly what I love about narration. The story was told from his POV, but the girl narrated the girl parts of the book. It was perfect and just how I would have cast it. The story was perfect and the voices matched what I would see for Vaughn and Haven.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shock Jock?

The Valentine's getaway.

A Shocking Good Time!

This great listen will not shock you

This is a fantastic listen. It’s about friends that is afraid to admit here’s feelings for each other . They work together and know each other. It seems that they don’t see what is right in front of the main characters .
Hero is Vaughn DJ and not your regular type of DJ . Heroine is Haven Castell. Who is Vaughn Personal Assistant. His business is being relocated in the Big Apple from the city of Angels.
Once he gets to the Big Apple his carrier doesn’t take off as fast as he wants. He then turns to women. Lots of women . A customer on air asks Vaughn about his life. Once the customers hear about Vaughn’s trouble on air the ratings go way up .
Haven has feelings for Vaughn but she hates and will not say how she feels , since Vaugh has a revolving door with women . Vaughn finally admits to himself about his feelings about Haven. But is it to late for the couple to let the lovevshine

The narrators Tor Thom and Charley nail this story. They are a dream team . The voices are strong, clear and powerful

Amazing Audible Listen🎧 Smoking🔥Hot🔥Shock Jock!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, it is well written and well told The interesting storylines captivated me from start to end. The characters are complex and well developed. Vaughn Liar is a psychologist and sex therapist. He hosts a radio show where guests call in and ask questions about sex and relationships. He’s earned several titles and awards, including the “hottest sex therapist” and “Best on the Air” He leaves his L.A. radio job to move NY to host his show on Satellite radio, which will allow him to speak more freely without getting fined by the FCC. His assistant and best friend Haven makes the move with him to NY, she is his right hand and with out her he is a mess. I adored how their story plays out, the laughs, the drama, the twists and the dawning that there is more to their friendship. Yes Dr. Vaughn Lair, sometimes love and what you need in life is right in front of you. LOL! A.M Madden thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride, it was fun and entertaining. I loved how Vaughn signed off his show ”Remember to f*ck with all your heart, and f*ck like your life depends on it.” That is hot!!

I listened to the Audible edition, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are awesome narrators and voice performers. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. I loved Tor Thom’s Vaughn, he made him sound like an amazing radio host, as the author intended. Charley Ongel was amazing too. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧
