Im like other readers who was surprised Hunter was the character lead for this 4th book in the series but Thank You Shayla. Our Navy SEAL is no joke when it comes to the woman he wants and no games are played. He doesn't just seduce Kata he woes her. Kata is one of my favorite female characters of the series, more of an everyday independent woman who gets her socks knocked off in the bedroom. Lexi the narrator did a wonderful job here keep up the hotness.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it was not my favorite in this series, but whats not to like about a hot dominate man falling instantly in love with a woman when he first laid eyes on her. I don't want to ruin the story, but to me it was worth the listen.

Hunter, he is so madly in love.

Although I was really surprised at Hunter's personality, not as rough ,bad ass, or as dominant as I thought he would be. He had a hidden side, as did Kata. Loved her ...such a strong woman. Can't wait for the next book on Audio!!!

This is classic Shayla Black-strong men who 'take care' of their women. I enjoy the storyline however it IS VERY graphic, adult themes and language.

pretty good narrator.

Yep, I was "really moved" during each of the threesome scenes and the plot was decent too!

I like this cast of characters though they paint a nice fiction version of the lifestyle.

This story is very intense and overwhelming at times due to the emotions that are involved. Hunter is very much a dominant in all aspects of his life and has found the woman he wants but the problem is she is very independent and doesn’t want to lose herself to any man. She holds baggage about men and relationships due to her mothers with her stepfather. But the question is can they overcome their differences in the name of LOVE!! Find out, it’s emotional!!

This quickly became my favorite book in the series so far. An epic story of a true Dom and a relationship to strive for. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

a friend told me to read Wicked Ties, the first book in the series and i am so glad they did as i have enjoyed these books so much. it's amazing how much housework i can get done with this playing in my ears. i simply loved it. the story of Kata was wonderful and i really wanted this one to be a little longer, but shayla knows best and gives us what we need. :)
excellent book. can't wait for the next one.
