Lying on the floor of her cubicle to stave off a migraine while working late, the last thing Ashley Bell expected was to open her eyes and find the company's notoriously hard-assed owner and CEO, Ben Stone, standing over her. The offer of a ride home is a bigger surprise, but the biggest shock of all comes when Ben asks her to work for him as his personal assistant.
Despite some misgivings about his intentions, Ashley accepts the position, but she has barely started the job when a phone call turns her life on its head. Her twin sister has been kidnapped, and the price for her life is Ashley's help in a secret plot to destroy Ben's company. But she soon discovers that Ben has a far more terrifying secret of his own.
From the moment he first crossed paths with Ashley, the beautiful young human from marketing, Ben has been consumed by her. When her life is threatened by his enemies, he casts aside caution and fights with the rage of a beast defending his mate. Not sure he can trust her yet determined to protect her, Ben kidnaps Ashley, planning to keep her under his watch for as long as necessary.
Ashley is none too happy with the situation, but a hard bare-bottom spanking changes her attitude...and leaves her begging for more. Though Ben knows a human girl is no match for the fearsome lusts of an alpha wolf, she ignites in him a hunger he can barely contain. Can he resist the urge to mark her as his own and take her harder than she can imagine?

While the book was good, I did have problems with the narrator. Her regular reading is good but some of the voices she did were awful. The voice of Ashley sounded like she was 5 years old. Which was irritating. Zolla was another character that sounded bad.
I enjoyed this book and hope that there is a book 2. It would be nice to learn more about the other wolves.

Would you try another book from Renee Rose and/or Sierra Kline?
Absolutely! I enjoy Renee Rose's books and look forward to reading many more in the future. I own most of her current ones and I am always waiting for new stories to consume.I'm not sure that I would be willing to listen to another book narrated by Sierra Kline but I may not be given much choice. I've already purchased another book by Renee Rose that is unfortunately also narrated by Sierra Kline. I really did not enjoy listening to her performance of The Alpha's Hunger, which diminished my enjoyment of Renee Rose's story. Hopefully she did a better job on the next book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Alpha's Hunger?
One of the most memorable moments of The Alpha's Hunger for me is when he rescues Ashley from the kidnappers and reveals himself to her as a werewolf. How did the narrator detract from the book?
I found her narration off-putting at first but grew used to it so it didn't completely ruin the experience. I didn't like how she portrayed the voices of the characters. Her performance of Ben was alright but not the anywhere near the best I've heard. Her portrayal of Ashley, on the other hand, I could not get used to. She made the heroine of the story sound so whiny and annoying I just wanted her to shut up.Do you think The Alpha's Hunger needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
There already is a follow-up book titled The Alpha's Punishment. I'm interested in finding out what happens to these characters in the future so I purchased the audiobook and plan on listening to it soon.Dominate Werewolf
