Publisher's summary

I was supposed to seduce the dragon king, but before I could, he claimed me as his.

Now I’m chained to him, trapped in an ancient mating process I neither want nor understand.

I’ve got to get out, but there’s only one way to do that now—and it involves a much more permanent type of shackle.

I have no idea what will happen if I agree to be the king’s mate, but one thing's for sure…

My life will never be the same again.

This romantic fantasy was lightly inspired by Beauty and the Beast and is recommended for ages 17+ due to sexual content.

Narrator is a "NO"

The narrator sounds like Marilyn Monroe singing Happy Birthday to the president! She's so breathy and whiny sounding the entire time. I couldn't make it past the second chapter. Unfortunately, the story doesn't sound like it'll be much better. MC claims she is trying to seduce the dragon shifter for "food", yet she asks him to take his hands off her deciding she needs to set boundaries straight from the get go. (He was holding her arm) 🙄 So the story isn't making much sense already. Although, I could have probably made it through a few more chapters if it weren't for the awful narration. It's so cringy.

Sky's Damn Annoying

How many times can you put "Sky's Damn" in a single book without it being annoying? Well, this author decided to take up that challenge, and let me tell you, it's a lot. She uses sky's damn like 2 to 11 times per chapter, and yes, I mean in every single chapter.

The story would be decent enough if it wasn't for that one annoying little thing. I mean not a 5-star read or anything, but if you catch it on sale, it might be worth picking up.
