About this listen

The Man Made of Stone
Albion Guthrie has a reputation for being unapproachable. He’s emotionless. The only thing he “loves” is his job. When Albion’s boss asks him to keep Wade Lee Sawyer in check at the office after an attempted white-collar mutiny, Albion has no choice. Wade signs a contract stating he will work for Albion and follow his directives, and if Albion can manipulate anything in his favor, it’s paperwork.

The Traitor Who Craves Love
Wade Lee Sawyer only ever wanted to be loved. Was that really so wrong? He was hungry for any positive attention, which led him to make the worst mistake of his life. He trusted the wrong man and accidentally got caught up in a plan to destroy the company he loves. Now he’s paying the price. Following Albion’s orders at the office is easy for him, and he begins to enjoy it more than he ever thought he would.

Always Read the Fine Print
Every choice has consequences. Spending so much time with Wade has Albion acting in ways he shouldn’t. Falling in love isn’t mentioned anywhere in the contract they signed, and Albion makes it his mission to never let that happen. Wade wants something meaningful, and he knows Albion could never fall for him after the way he acted.

Or can he?

This story takes place in the beautiful city of St. Loren, Louisiana, which is part of the New Gothenburg world.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this story and the narration was excellent! The characters are well developed and the storyline is smoking hot! There is a connection to the book Cuddle Bear, but the tone is very different as the dynamic between the main characters is on a different spectrum altogether. I highly recommend this book!

Loved it

I loved this book. Keval Shah's voice really brings this story to life. Albion Guthrie is not nice to Wade Lee Sawyer at all. In fact he hates him. The contract they signed has nothing to do with love and kindness. Could the hate turn to love or is there no chance at all?

The Ownership Clause

This is a hot and heavy story about two enemies that find that their relationship is so much more than what they thought it was. Albion find this out when he begins to spend more time with Wade. He begins to see the true person that Wade is and it is nothing like he thought. They each are dealing with their own insecurities and learn lessons of their own but when it comes time to step up and fight for what they truly want both men must decide if they want to grab hold or let go. I enjoyed watching these two come to terms with their emotions and see their relationship turn into something deeper. Narrator Keval Shah does a good job of bringing the emotions to life and pulling the reader into the story.

😮‍💨

Uhhh. I walked into this so so so blind..

And I’m glad I did. Narrator was top notch! The spice was spicy and very true-like to a lot of BDSM I’ve read. It’s not just spice but it’s an intricate story of complicated feelings. A lot of internalized dislike that comes out in nervous moments.

It’s the grumpy boss, nervous employee that gets me. I love all the build up and angst and this one delivered! Fantastic!

Perfect

Albion and Wade are perfect for each other. At first I didn't like how much hate Albion had for Wade but I definitely liked how their relationship progressed. Sweet sweet Wade would do anything for his Sir. I loved the ending. Keval did an amazing job as usual.

The Ownership Clause

Welp, this just shot to my number one favourite book from this very talented duo. (Admittedly I have about twenty number one favourites but who says there can be only one? This isn’t Highlander.)

This hit every single one of my buttons and I didn’t want to put the book down. I’m sad it’s over.

I loved listening to Keval perform the narration as well.

Highly recommend.

Captivating

This was tantalizing seeing Albion and Wade grow and bond together. They were exactly what the other needed. The rough spots only made the rest so good and precious. I liked Albion being vulnerable to Wade and his needs.
I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this audio and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did an exceptional job bringing the characters and story to life. Wonderful accents and expression.

Loved it

The story is great, but the added audio makes it awesome. You get to hear the distinction in the tone of the Dom and just how submissive his show licker is 😉.

Hits all the right spots!

Once again, Meg and Ki, can do no wrong! I loved everything about Albion and Wade. The story was great and the steam was drool worthy. As far as the narration goes, Keval Shah could call me shoe licker all day long and I wouldn't be mad!

Hate to love

I loved this book so much. Albion knew he wasn't being a "good" Dom in the beginning but he didn't want to be since he was punishing Wade Lee. I love how everything changed and Albion realized not everything was how he thought. I think Keval did a wonderful job narrating. Ki Brightly and M.D. Gregory did an amazing job on this book.
