Publisher's summary

LaRue “Church Mouse” Simmons is a feisty pain in my ass. I knew I loved her when we met in that biker bar two years ago. She blew me off then, but now, she’s back and needs my help. I will do anything to show her she belongs with me. Even help her avenge her father’s death. If I can only get her to curb that attitude and listen, we’ll get along just fine. But, who said love was easy?

She’s stubborn, independent, and thinks she knows everything. I’m a surly bastard who enjoys the game more than she knows. It’s going to be fun taming LaRue.

This is book one in The Predator MC Series. There is a prequel, Predators MC title that is only available to the author's newsletter subscribers. However, The Taming of LaRue can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.

Just Plain Bad

It has the bones of an okay story. The narrators for a great listening experience but everything else was just plain bad. There was little cohesive plot that you can lose yourself in. It's very shallow and forced in the romance and action department. I was pumped for black female in a MC romance but this way so far fetched my eyes started hurting from rolling them so much. Hard pass.

L. Loren does it Again…

I thought Tennessee Whiskey One and Two were both great books but after reading this one hands-down hands-down the best. Taming of LaRue was a great book to read. Go get this one. It will be well worth it.

I didn't like the story (Spoilers)

This is my first book by this author and I didn't care for it. I mean, I REALLY disliked it. First off the narrator for this book was horrible. The accent was too much for me. She made them sound like backwoods hillbillies. 🤷🏾‍♀️ The story started out with the main character sneaking out of bed from being captured and raped for three months and she saw her father burned alive. Am I really to believe that she was already eyeing the club's new president and in bed with him within weeks of her escaping that horrible situation? AND her best friend saw her getting raped and knew where she was the entire 3 months and chose not to say anything to anyone because she was jealous? AND they somehow became friends again by the end of the story. Ummm yeah, this story was a huge no for me. Even if there would have been a better narrator the story was still horrible.
