About this listen

He'll do anything for his wounded warrior… even wooing him a widow.

In a world of orcs and men, Lady Scall is a widow besieged—by her debts, her demons, and her dangerous lord neighbor. But time is running out, and she's about to lose everything…

Until the night an orc shows up in her chambers.

Killik is a cold, cruel, condescending spy, and he wants nothing to do with Lady Scall… for himself. But he's decided she's the perfect woman for his clanmate Ulfarr, the Wolf of Clan Skai. Ulfarr isn't just any orc. He's a huge, broken, brutal monster with a dark, deadly past.

Killik wants Lady Scall to help Ulfarr. To heal Ulfarr. To handle Ulfarr however she pleases. In return, Killik will solve all her problems—and he'll teach her how to tend and tame an orc. And maybe, if she behaves, he'll fulfill all her own deepest longings, too…

But even a desperate, lonely widow shouldn't risk such a scandalous affair, right? Especially when Ulfarr's secrets are darker than she ever imagined, and Killik is far more jealous than she knew.

A deal with two devils might draw more doom to her door… and her heart.

The Widow and the Orcs is an angsty, enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance. It comes after The Beauty and the Orcs but can be enjoyed as a standalone. Happily ever after guaranteed.

This is the BEST of Fenn’s books to date — except for the length. It’s far too long…

Finally, we get a break from Orc Mountain and get live free amongst keen architects of Clan Skai. I was worried that this would be another repeat of the Finley Fenn Formula of lies, discovery, more lies then love with tons of lovely smut everywhere ending in an orkling. But this book was surprising authentic with unique topics (still has loads of sex). My sole complaint is that the editor fell asleep. It’s about 7 hours too long. Just my thoughts…

Loved it!

A wonderful addition to the Orc Sworn series! This book stands out from all the previous ones in many ways, e.g. the FMC being more than a decade older than the FMC’s were in the other books, and that besides a brief stay at Orc Mountain the story takes place away from it. There are more differences between this book and all the others I won’t mention and they all made this one a refreshing read. When I was listening to Simon and Maria’s book I could never have imagined I would come to love Ulfarr this much. He truly is a sweetheart.

Best of the series so far

This one is absolutely my favorite in the series to date. Love how the world is growing, love seeing all the characters connect, love the lore, love it all!

Good story

James Joseph is a such amazing narrator. So much better than Shane East. I wish he read all the book. It was a good story and worthy a credit

Throughly Enjoyed this raunchy tale.

I loved the banter between Lady Scall and Killik. Through all the fluids, rutting and secrets. This MMF story made sure it included the FMC’s importance to the relationship. Both of MMC’s were deeply in love with her as well each other. I’ve listened to this whole series and can honestly say both narrator’s we’re absolutely awesome! Can’t wait for the next one!
