About this listen

Determined to find the human traffickers preying on Shadowlands' submissives, Master Raoul gets himself invited to a small slave auction. Once informed, the FBI orders him to reject the limited choices so the slavers will invite him to the big auction. To Raoul's shock, one of the slaves is the kidnapped friend of a Shadowlands sub. She has a scarred body...and an unbroken spirit. He can't leave her behind. Ruining the FBI's carefully laid plans, he buys her.

Kimberly's freedom has come at a devastating price: the other women are still slaves. An FBI raid is their only hope for rescue. Desperate to help the Feds locate the big auction, she agrees to pose as Master Raoul's slave. Wearing a collar again is terrifying, but under the powerful dominant's care, Kim starts to heal and then to blossom. This is what she's been drawn to - and fled from - her entire life.

She escaped the slavers who captured her body - can she escape the master who's captured her heart?

Publisher's note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some listeners may find objectionable: anal play, BDSM theme, elements (including/not limited to: bondage, fire play, flogging), and violence.

I loved the addition of the female voice along with the male reader it made the story come to life even more and play more like a movie in my head.
the story itself is one that with touch you to your core, bare your emotions, and give you strength.

amazing story, perfectly read

The female's voice was far too quiet. Many times, even at top volume, I was unable to hear her lines. This then led to an uncomfortable volume of the male narrator. Needing to constantly adjust volume or step back in the story defeats the main purpose of an audiobook. Which for me is the hands off enjoyment of a book.

Painful listening

Masters of the Shadowlands is one of my favorite series, and this is my favorite book. I adore Kim and Master R. I’ve read the eBook countless times - believe me, if an electronic book could have dog ears and a crinkle, worn spine my copy of To Command and Collar would bear those markings. About a year ago I bought the paperback and now I added the audiobook. Fan girl? Definitely! Slightly crazy? Perhaps.

Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard form a very talented narrator couple and I loved their performance. To call them narrators really doesn’t do them justice. They are voice actors and they’re excellent at what they do. Mr. Levine’s impersonation of Master R is so amazing, even his chuckle seems to have a Spanish lilt to it.

Even his chuckle has a Spanish accent

But Master Raoul is my favorite so far. He is a dark knight in shining armor. He rescued and tries to protect an imprisoned slave, Kim.
Will they come together and defeat the evil harvest association and each other's fears and preconceived notions?

I love the Shadowlands Masters

Something about Master Raoul touched me. This was as much about him as it was Kimberly.
The woman narrating spoke too soft. When I adjusted the volume for her, the males was super loud. I understand she was conveying submissive, scared mentality, but it was too low.

Raoul

If you haven't checked our Cherise Sinclair yet. I recommend starting with book one of the Shadowlands. Cherise never let's you down not matter what she writes. Nolan Levine and Erin deward brings the story to life. Command and Collar is about an FBI investigation of human trafficking. This is an amazing story that will bring out all your emotions. As always Cherise leaves you with a feel good ending and yearning for more. Do yourself a favor and hangout in the Shadowlands for awhile.

Excellent book but the narration needs work. I was glad to see that a female narrator had been added as Mr. Levine while good for a man's voice is awful at mimicking a female. Problem was the first half of the book you can barely hear the narration of female voices it did improve as the book went along

Loved it
