About this listen

Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I f**k with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests.

Savage man, loner, warrior... I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation.

Now I've been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.

Dr. Moira Reed is an anthropologist who has been hired to help me transition back into modern society. It's her job to smooth away my rough edges... to teach me how to navigate properly through this new life of mine. She wants to tame me.

She'll never win.

I am wild, free and raw, and the only thing I want from the beautiful Moira Reed is to f**k her into submission.

She wants it, I am certain. I will give it to her soon.

Yes, very soon, I will become the teacher and she will become my student. And when I am finished showing her body pleasure like no other, she'll know what it feels like to be claimed by an uncivilized man.

Warning: This book is a wild, sexy beast of a read. 18+

Total 5 stars! So hot!

This book starts out hot and just keeps getting hotter. It definitely takes things to levels I don't get to read/hear often, which is awesome. Having both a female and male reader sets this book ahead of others and I'm definitely telling my girlfriends about it. So worth it!

Zacarias Can Dominate Me Any Time!

Savage man. Loner. Warrior. Dangerous. Uncivilized.

All of these words and more describe Zacarias Easton, the hero in Sawyer Bennett’s, Uncivilized. For the past 18 years, Zach has lived with the Caraican Indian Tribe in the wild of the Amazon – a place where the modern world has no role and the rules of civilization don’t apply. As a male member of the tribe, he protects his people and takes what he wants as a reward, including sexual gratification. He’s a man of control…a dominant man whose raw sexuality and passion makes him even more complex and intriguing to Anthropologist, Dr. Moira Reed. She’s been entrusted with the task of bringing Zach back to the states and reacclimating and reinitiating him into contemporary society. She’s to be his teacher, answering his questions and helping him understand civilization’s expectations, but what Moira wasn’t expecting is for Zach to teach her just as much about herself and the freedom of submission.

Uncivilized is an extremely erotic read; there is an abundance of sexual scenes that dominate the text, but, in my opinion, the physical side of Moira and Zach’s relationship is how both of them evolve into the people they are at the end of the story. Their evolution stems from their new perceptions on sex and what control/dominance/submission mean to them. Their first encounter back in the Amazon is sexual in nature, and it definitely sets a precedent for them right away. But those first interactions as participant and observer lead to a yearning for one another that they can’t deny, and the more Zach learns and tries out in terms of the different aspects of intimacy, foreplay, and the actual act of sex, the deeper his and Moira’s connection grows. But this relationship with Moira is something he doesn’t know how to handle because he desperately wants to go back to the Caraican Indian Tribe – back to his home and the only family he’s ever really known. He’s conflicted as to where he belongs because while he definitely can hold his own in contemporary society, there are aspects of his nature that will never mesh well with the modern world.

Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett definitely has a Tarzan meets Jane vibe to it; this is definitely not the Disney version, though, it’s a hell of a lot edgier and sexier than your typical story of a native immersing himself into modern society. It’s an immensely original book that held me captive from the first page as Zach and Moira look to teach each other about their respective worlds, and as they learn to give and take…submit and dominate, readers are given one hell of a story that allows them to escape their own reality.

Audible Experience: Kirsten Leigh and Leo Samuels narrate Moira and Zach's parts perfectly. Kirsten's voice and inflections truly illustrate Moira's struggles with remaining an objective anthropologist when every part of her craves Zach in a purely subjective manner and when Moira does finally give into her want and need for Zach as a man, Kirsten's voice exudes the passion and deep feelings that Moira experiences at the hands of her uncivilized man.

Leo Samuels' narration of Zach's parts of the book are AMAZING. Samuels' expertly delivers Zach's anger, frustration, and sexual desires. As Zach learns the ways of his new environment and the slang for the acts of sex, listeners experience the intensity of this new vocabulary and what it does to Zach and Moira's relationship.

I can’t recommend this book/audio version enough!

I want my own Uncivilized Zachary?!?!

As a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett I jumped on the chance to listen and review one of her books that had been recorded. Uncivilized has been on my TBR since it came out so choosing the audiobook to review was easy.

Uncivilized centers on Moria, an anthropologist from Evanston, IL. After being chosen to study an Amazon tribe she travels with a Priest into a local tribe where she encounters Zacharias.
Not born of the tribe or its people, Zach is American and was taken in by the tribe after the death of his missionary parents.
Sent to return Zach back to the States and rea climate him to civilization sets Moria and Zach on a journey of anger, rebellion, and passion.
As Zach spends time with Moria and learns of the way society works his draw to her heightens. What was anger and bitterness turns to interest and passion.
This book has so many emotions, great deep characters, humor and hotness that it's a must read and listen to.
5 shining stars!!!

Wow!

OMG! This was such a hot and sexy story, with Zach who is a son of missionaries who lost his parents while they were in Brazil. He was raised from age 7 by an indigenous tribe, but when his godfather back in the US finds out he's still alive, hires an anthropologist to bring him home. The way Moira helps Zach enter into modern life is very entertaining and Zach learns what it means to really care for someone. Finding his new identity is Zach conundrum, while she is falling in love with him. The story was intricate and intriguing, while the narration was excellent!
