I felt like this went on a little too long, but the story was engaging the whole time. Lots of quirk!

I hate to be that guy but there were vocal things with both narrators that annoyed me to no end. Might just be a preference for me. However, I loved the story, great sequel to Butcher and Blackbird. Looking forward to book 3!

I really love Cara Bastone’s stories. This one really tugged at my heart and was so cute. Not only do you get the HAE, you just feel good after finishing her stories.

I don’t know if I would have been better offer actually reading this or not. The premise was mediocre and predictable. The narration was honestly pretty terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely another amazing book by Abby! I had the privilege to read it via the ARC program and it was an absolute delight! It’s everything you expect from an Abby Jimenez book. Zachary and Christine again did an amazing narration, really capturing the emotions felt in the story.

My original reason getting this was because of Abby Jimenez. I do like Christina Lauren and had heard about the other authors so I was pretty confident I would like this series.

DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!!!!

A must read if you’re a hopeless romantic and want to get happy butterflies!

The narration was just fine but the content reads like it came out of a 1950’s good housewife manual.

This was written in a way that does not give the reader feelings of confidence in themselves and honestly felt very ridiculous. The overall mood it gave me was “well what would people think if…..”

I came into this wanting to hear some methods of how Swedish Death Cleaning works and tips and tricks. There is none of that in this book. Mind you, I got 2/3 of the way through before I had to quit in the sole reason the author uses Oprah as a resource for a certain cleaning method that —— wait for it—- Oprah didn’t invent. Shocker ( insert eye roll emoji here).

I heard about the SDC method after my mother passed and was hoping to get some insight as to how to get through all of her things. All this author did was rip off the original SDC creator and talk in circles.

Horrible read. Don’t waste your money or credits.

I listened to The Layover and absolutely loved the world built within it. You could absolutely tell the author was a seasoned flight attendant and it was fun joining her characters for the ride.

I immediately picked up From the Jump to listen to afterwards. It was definitely a lot slower and it took a lot longer for me to be into the story. I don’t feel it was as fleshed out as The Layover, and the FMC was actually pretty unlikable for the first 2/3 of the book. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more backstory explained (sprinkled in throughout) in the beginning portion, but the story was there.

This read was suggested by a friend. At first after hearing the trigger warnings I wasn’t sure it would be something for me- but I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did! The dual narration was EXCELLENT and I felt that it definitely lended to the delivery of the story.

This sis definitely not a story for the squeamish, but this was definitely a fun read and hilarious!
