I have listened to over 600 Audio Books over the years most we're well done, few were really excellent. The collaboration of Anspach, Chaney and R.C. Bray hit the ranks of the nonperiel (sp?). The storyline is both entertaining, gripping and at times humorous (BRODY).
Hopefully there'll be a next installment..please fellas!

Sorry but plodding over description of every single interaction with J's friends. The first engagement with the antagonist monster is a struggle to wade through; not a page turner. Charles Dickens's must be this author 's writing style mentor.

Sorry to assess in this manner : The writing is lack luster and the never ending "woe is me", of the protagonist is wearing. Reach further Mr. MASSEY; we will be watching.

I really regret buying a second rate story even despite Boyett's best efforts. I do believe that Mr Barlett will gain a realistic understanding of combat dialog as he achieves maturity. Scott keep swinging man!

Basically a decent idea for story. Honestly though Chapters 20-23 were so repetitive; at first tiresome but progressed into irksome and finally painful. Author I know you can do better please DO better!
