Publisher's summary

It's all-out war.

Our cities fall. Millions die. The scum, these cruel aliens from deep space, are determined to kill us all.

So we must kill them.

Humanity musters its greatest fleet. Thousands of starships rally. Millions of soldiers deploy. For Earth to stand a chance, we must invade the aliens' home world. We must destroy their planet.

Before they destroy ours.

Earth's fleet flies through space. We fly toward millions of enemy ships. We fly to almost certain death. This will be the hour humanity falls...or the hour of our greatest victory.

Good book until the end.

The story was great until the end. Not sure why the author threw in the last twist.

Love this series!

So far this series is off to a great start. It spends time developing the characters and their relationships with the story. Looking forward to more.

Ok...

Not bad, but the interaction between Marco and Leilani is not believable and pretty cheesy in many points.

Finishing Earthrising here Book 3

Going to finish up the series of the remaining books in this SCUM of over scummed and redundant story lines .... Lost all interest as the SCUM and expected redundant follow-ups are just pointless and nothing new. Could have been 1 1/2 books with and end.

Filler and Gaps

I really enjoyed the first two books of the series this one however got weird and left things unfilled with anything other than random thoughts that continued until reader or listener was so tired of hearing them.

Additionally there seem to be large gaps in the story I kept going and searching to see if there was a prequel series as there seem to be another story being told.

I am about to start on the next book and I hope it is more like the first two.

Not this best one of the bunch but worth getting

I was ok with this installment except for 1 or 2 unnecessary diatribes about some of the characters. also I was pissed with the ending plot twist. That was some then shit to base everything on!!!!

Decent book

Great story with a lot of influence from Starship Troopers. I would say their are a lot of problems with the details specially with the science of the development of species and planets that are explained well. I still like the series but the action in this book is great.

Great series but man Marco is such a pu***.

If the main character "Marco" wasn't such a pu*** and coward I would have loved it.
