A truly beautiful story of two women from totally different backgrounds, their hardships, & determination to overcome all that life has to throw at them.
I enjoyed listening as the two women formed a strong bond.
Especially how one woman learned the importance of telling the truth, & getting the backbone to speak out, even when it meant her son would have to answer for his wrong doing.

I was in need of a good read, with a lot of GOOD humor, to pull me out of a negative pit I found myself in recently. After trying several books that promised humor, I found myself zoning out with each one.
What a joy to finally find this book. It has helped me to reconnect to my humerious side.
I loved the introductions to each chapter...what a hoot. Can't wait to use them.
The icing on the cake is the mingling of such different characters. ..... it's okay if you don't make sense, it's okay to live your life outside the 'normally accepted box'. It's confusing when you finally get up enough nerve to go to the police, & confess you assaulted someone & they won't believe you.
Plus the mystery of who done it?
