Love the twists, kept me at the edge of my seat. Enjoyed the likable characters and really didn’t like the unlikable ones 😉 Wasn’t sure I’d understand the tech/AI stuff, (I’m a Boomer) but I did not have any issues. Him, is at the top of my 2025 listening favorites!

I enjoyed this listen greatly. However, because I have been in an abusive relationship in my past, there were moments that I could have put this book down. I’m glad I persevered; both, through this book and through the abuse I have endured. The best underlying theme to this book is the women supporting women.

Freida McFadden’s talent is evident in this lighthearted story about a newbie doctor and her finding her feet in a tough profession. Being a nurse, I found this very enjoyable.

I have loved every Freida McFadden book I have read. The almost gave up on this on, about halfway through. As I was going about my day, as I do, repeating aloud, “Dread, dread, dread & doom”. I am so glad I finished the chapter I was on and began the next. A different perspective and the resolve of the dread and doom was beginning. Such a twist at the end, wowee! Loved it!

We get to see ‘both sides’ of the same story. I enjoy how this author allows us readers the opportunity to love or hate each or all characters.

I enjoyed this listen. Interesting premise, a couple going to buy an old house. As the book unfolds we find out why THIS house. The epilogue may have left an opening to a sequel. As far as the reader goes 1) I will listen to her read anything, but 2) I will always think of her as Tricia 😉
