Story
Bruised and abused, and victim to a loveless household, I shimmered with new life the moment he found me drowning my sorrows in a lake beneath the stars. A chance encounter. An unspoken connection. I was smitten. He was curious. But, as everyone knew, fate could be decidedly cruel. He called me Halley, like the comet. I called him Reed. And my best friend? Well… she called him Dad.

Narrators were great!

When I first saw this book I thought it was really long and was afraid I would get bored with it, but that was not the case at all. It really kept me guessing what would happen next. Great love story but I also loved how it followed the tragedy of Halley’s life all the way to her happy ending. Great narrators and just overall a good book!

Story
It's not every day your dean is a 6'4" dark god with ocean-blue eyes and a dimple. Just looking at him makes my heart pound and my stomach flutter. He's intense, filthy, and forbidden. Not to mention, he's my sister's ex-boyfriend. If I were smart, I'd walk away. Lines are getting blurred. Boundaries are being tested. And rules are about to be broken.

I loved listening to this book. It was great to have multiple characters thoughts/story. The journey it takes throughout the years was a great build to the ending. It was definitely a story about troubled people making it through life and the ending was really good. It kept me wanting to know what happens next!

Story
It all started with an unexpected phone call. Two years after my fiancé passed away in an accident, his father died suddenly, leaving Brad’s adult special-needs brother with no one to care for him. The next thing I knew, I was on a cross-country drive to New Hampshire where I’d be moving in to look after Scottie until I could get him into a group home. The last thing I ever expected? I wouldn’t be taking care of him alone.

I really listened to this book because my two favorite narrators were doing the audio! Once I started it though, I was hooked. This was a great book! It lead up to the steamy parts without being too much at the beginning. The ending was just what I hoped it would be and the characters in it were awesome!

Story
Josephine Clark is trapped. A harrowing past haunts her every time she looks in the mirror, and she can't escape the violence of her everyday life. More and more, her thoughts turn to Evan Salinger, the boy she knew in high school. The boy they called a mental case. A loner. A freak. The boy who seemed to know things no one could know. For a few short weeks, Jo had found perfect solace in Evan's company, sneaking every night to meet him at the local pool.

Story
I've been trying to get that TA job ever since my senior year at college. I'm in the last semester of my Master's degree and finally got the job. The only problem is our new professor is a sexy, middle-aged, brilliant writer and an even better teacher. He runs the English department, and now he's my boss, my professor, and the center of every last one of my fantasies. There's no way I should want him this much, but it's those dang glasses, and that smile, and that little dimple in his chin. I was swooning the moment I met Professor Harlo, but the moment he opened his mouth, I fell in love.

Story
I'm down to my last dollar. I live day-to-day in a world that doesn't care. Despite my bad luck, I'm a fighter. I never give up. I never stop trying. Ryan Parker's wealth and generosity set him apart from anyone I know. Yet, I don't trust him. It's nothing personal. I trust no one. But when my bad luck takes a turn for the worse, one person shows up. Ryan Parker. I do not understand why he bothered because the guy has enough of his own issues to deal with. But I don't have a choice. I need him. It's a matter of survival. His friendship changed everything. It changed me.

Story
I finally had my baby girl back home, but she came with a little baggage in the shape of her best friend. I could deal with that for some more time with my daughter. The only problem is Bay's not exactly what I'd expected. I'd been through hell and back with my ex, but even that didn't compare to the turmoil that girl causes me. My stomach aches every time she's in the room with me, and we're drawn like magnets, but she can never be anything to me. Bay is young, vibrant, beautiful, and totally off-limits.

Story
I didn't know she was my student the first time I paid to watch her at Voyeur. Once she walked into my classroom, another smiling college freshman, I knew I should stop going. Stop watching. But I couldn't do it. Everything about her makes me want more, and once I realize she wants me too, the temptation becomes irresistible. The worst part is that she has no idea her professor is the one watching behind the glass. I just have to hope that once she finds out the truth, she wants the same thing I do. Because now that I've seen all of her, I can't look away.

Story
He seethes with raw power the first time I see him - pure menace and rippling muscles in shackles. He's dangerous. He's wild. He's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. So, I hide behind my prim glasses and my book like I always do, because I have secrets, too. Then, he shows up in the prison writing class I have to teach, and he blows me away with his honesty. He tells me secrets in his stories, and it's getting harder to hide mine. I shiver when he gets too close, with only the cuffs and the bars and the guards holding him back.
