And as the description promised, a very horrifying story. I'm a horror addict, and this book rang all the bells! But there's just one thing: you can't offer me characters to cherish (ok, Real Mommy was a bit much) and then end them in a way none of them deserves. An excremental ending, if ever there was one. Feh.

And brought to us by Lauryn Allman, they were a great mix of good/evil, smart/dumb, naughty/nice, and so on. Except, of course, for Millie (Milly?) who is all things to all people. Not really--I just love her like a sistah! The story was un-shutoffable from the first minute to the last, and I'm so glad there are sequels. Only TWO sequels. I know you're a very busy woman, Ms. McFadden, but c'mon...more Miilie! Anyway, thanks for everything! All love!

Now I have to wait for Ms. French to get me back to this place I'd never thought I'd be but can't do without, so I can see some people I've never imagined, but now count as friends. What a predicament! Loved every moment of this story, and can't wait for the next development. Beautiful production! Perfect narration! Thanks for this!

But I have never disliked a main character more. There she was, in nearly every sentence. With her nastiness and her crappy sense if humor. Whatever her mitigating circumstances were supposed to be, they were not enough. I haven't read many Lisa Gardner novels. I'll try again, but if there's a repeat of this kind of thing, that'll be it.

She's disobedient, brilliant, bold, and she cuts right through the horsebleep like no other! Ms. Gardner, please tell us what Frankie's going to do next. We love her!

Great narration, which is of course, standard Will Patton.

Enjoyed every single story, especially Laurie, Danny Coughlin's Bad Dream and The Answer Man.

There's a lot of heart in this collection, which is of course, standard Stephen King.

Thanks again, Mr. King! In your own way, you give me joy.

I can't say the last-minute switch constituted a "twist", coming in the last sentences of the novel. Had to go through a lot of stuff to get there, and it wasn't worth the trip.

Subtitle: Money talks! This plain reading by the author was very suitable for the revelations given in this riotous exposition of the real story behind Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. The money? Won't do spoilers, but there's a lot of 'who paid whom for what' all over the place. I found this highly enjoyable!

I have never before received help that felt as though it was designed exactly for me. I'm both grateful and amazed at what I've learned, and I feel joy, yes, JOY, as I face my life going forward. Thank you, K.C.! I've gone on to buy the print copies of your book and workbook because I want them with me to refer to when I need them. I urge everyone to listen to this book. Wonderful sound! The actors were perfect for their roles, and I enjoyed every second of this tale told entirely through dialogue. Brilliant!
