Story
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

I hate your emotional overload chapters.

The world was good. Most of it was good. But the emotional struggle parts are so long and drawn out it’s hard to get through.

Story
James thought he would be just another adventurer in the world’s most anticipated dungeon delving VRMMORPG. But when he logs in, he soon finds out that he won’t be diving the dungeon - he will be creating it. Pretty awesome right? At least that was what he thought when he boldly chose "Random" as his dungeon type....

Cringey when speaking with pixie
Reviewed: 02-22-24
General dungeon mechanics where alright, it was fine, although the over use of popular tv and internet references got old quickly. But as soon as mc starts talking to the pixie its unbearable creepy cringey make you want to throw up.

Story
I was in my garage, when the space elves addressed the whole world. They didn't call themselves space elves, of course, but most humans struggled to pronounce Khjurhnalva. They had a message for us: Forces that had eradicated their species' males were heading for Earth. The space elves offered us access to the System, as cooperation was vital to the survival of both our species. I, Mathew, know all of the above is bullshit. I saw the truth with my own eyes, heard it from their beautiful, deceitful mouths. No one believes me, though. A planet-wide, survival reality show? Ridiculous.

Lackluster.

It’s a boring monotonous version of dungeon crawler Carl. It had some imaginative possibilities that just didn’t take off. I’m halfway through the 2nd book. I’ve fallen asleep and spaced off several times while listening and just can’t make myself rewind to pick up where I left off.
The narrator does a decent job until the commercial voices. Those voices are way over the top. Misses the mark for it being humorous and it’s just annoying.
Honestly I think i would rather just listen to a series I’ve already finished listening to than continue with this.

Story
Taken from life as an office drone by a trickster god, Tim finds himself in the magical world of Iocusinte, where change is his only constant. It grants him great potential, enough to be sought out by different factions looking to use him for their own ends. That potential, however, is mercurial. His Class and very appearance shift at random. If Tim is to survive long enough to enjoy this new world and the friends he's making, then he'll have to solve the riddle of his nature and learn to master the uncontrollable.

Has some kind of interesting ideas, mc isn’t horrible. Other characters are shallow. I think my only real issue is the narrator’s voice. I find it over the top and silly. I wish he would just speak and not try to make his voice sound deeper and slower.

Written by a 15 year old?
Reviewed: 07-03-21
I have not finished the series yet, I will only because it’s 30 hours long for 1 credit. But this feels and sounds like it was written by a newly pubescent boy who is comfortable with swearing but knows that if he says anything too sexual his mother will get mad at him. Story is drivel, characters are trash so far, the narrator is ok but not great although it’s not really his fault he’s trying to deliver a fun story out of a burning bag of excrement. I will finish and edit if my mind is changed in the next 20 hours.
