Welcome to Somerset.
A land of mystery and magic!
You have been chosen by our Illustrious Overlord to take part in The Rules: a no holds barred death-match, to see who among you is the most powerful. You have been transported here against your will. The only way back is to reach level 100 and defeat the final boss. Please do be careful with your life, as it is the only one you’ll get.
Have a pleasant match, and remember, we’re always watching....
When Sam wakes up in a strange new world with a message floating before his eyes, he thinks he's hallucinating. However, he soon discovers a land filled with dungeons, monsters, angry gnomes, and even worse, talking dogs!
Warning: This is a LitRPG book, containing multiple stat sheets, message windows, dungeons, and epic loot. This book contains excessive amounts of profanity, so if you're a delicate flower, be advised to listen to something else. You have been warned.

I liked the story

Also while pointing out tropes can be funny, it gets pretty old when most of the book is “hey look at that trope, rant about tropes… trope happens”. That basically describes the third book, and parts of the first two.
It’s ok

The whole first two books he put like no points in
agility or strength he kept on putting it off and that's
something else I kept on listening to the book because
I listened to all the super mage books and thought that he would put some points in those stats plus with all the points he put into intelligence it seemed like he never got any smarter he leveled to slow the anime type thing were going for was cool but dumb because he basically had no one shot skills but now luts get off my bad opinion of the book I have more complaints but the book was good the story was good I liked how funny it was the mc personality and perspective of things that was good too was the way he acted like he knew he was the mc he acted like a emotion less mc I said it was cool and dumb but the way the anime style attached to his personality I liked the tropes that were added it made it seem like he knew what he was doing at first I thought this was going to be a harem book but after I think about it u made super mage so that would not happen overall the book was okay in my book I'll give u 5 stars in every thing because I like Aaron oster as a arther
and ur right I do not write books so what should I know but these series were awesome
Felt like the story was a little to weird

The third book as where this changed. Half way through the book the author just took random jabs at critics of the books and went on rants. The last half of the third book just tossed out the premise of the book, granted I know this is due to the last two books being canceled and he wanted to end the series, but I think this could of been done better without attacking those that don't matter (trolls as in the negative posters).
My thoughts on the authors hate towards his thin skin in regards to critics happened after the book when he had his main character roast a critic. Funny yes but re-enforced the thin skin.
Mixed
