Beautiful story BUT….

This was a very beautiful story about second chance at love romance. However the reader’s voice made it very difficult to get through. Readers voice was very monotone throughout making me doze off. Personally I think that it would’ve been better with alternating voices.

I KNEW something was going on with Anastasia from Licia and Bashar’s story. That Cedric guy rubbed me the wrong way. I’m so glad that Staci got the chance to be loved correctly and know what it feels like to have a man take the burden off of her. She deserved love and Asif did too!

The readers did a great job! I loved this book so much. It kept me laughing. Megatron was THAT DEAL!!! I loved the bond him Ned and his mom had. The kicker was how he was referencing the Bible right back at the pastor! Overall this was a great book. Mel Dau did NOT miss with this one!!

My first book by this author and I loved it! The storyline and how there were so many secrets but they all came together at the end was good. I knew something was up with that old creep coming to that law firm. I’m glad Infinity got out of her own way with Magic because I loved their relationship from start to finish!

Definitely a Page Turner

This book was good. All of the plot twists and page turners. It kept me wanting to listen to more. Lasara’s sorry behind ex-husband got on my nerves. Cari got on my nerves as well. He really just kept messing up! He had so many little boy mannerisms. Overall I enjoyed the book and I’m interested to see how Cari and Couture’s story plays out as well as Quay’s story.

ANYTHING Winston Narrates is sure to be FIRE !!! I’m so glad that everyone got their happy ending. Tasha was getting on my nerves along with that menace of a son she created. The fact that she lied to Ella in her face at the end made me wish Capri would’ve did her in sooner. Capone and Erin were really the calm to each other’s storm. I’m glad that he convince Erin to let Jaiden get his own revenge on Timmy. Overall this was a great story. I felt like with the narrators I was watching a movie.

Keanu is a strong one. The fact that it took literally the whole book and something devastating to happen for Lyric to own up to her brothers was soooooo aggravating. Nonetheless I loved the storyline. Lyric just needed to grow up in all aspects of her life. I loved that Keanu was so patient.
