first 2 books avoided politics or the leftist delusions of "theres white supremacists everywhere" ... but this jerk of an author waited till the last book to spring it on us. I'm done searching for zombie apocalypse books on amazon for good after this, it's just one leftist trash heap after another. They put out a good story and then suddenly inject their racist ideology into it and I'm sick of it.

Story
The end of the world has come not with a bang or a whimper, but with the guttural snarl of walking corpses hungry for human flesh. The "lucky" survivors flee an unstoppable virus spreading death and societal collapse across the globe. As the rules of civilization crumble, a lawyer, a pilot, and a nurse become comrades-in-arms in the fight against extinction. But not every enemy wears a rotting face, and anyone who doesn’t have your back just might have your head. Humankind’s twilight is at hand, and these are indeed... dark days.

love it. you dont know how hard a good zompoc story is to find without the author adding in politics. this series focuses on the story instead of cheap political jabs. the suspense is heart wrenching and the endings leave me wanting more.

The crew of the USCG Buoy Tender Sassafras, out of Honolulu, has embodied the Coast Guard’s motto: Always ready, in every mission, every circumstance, every crazy thing mother nature and the US government has seen fit to dump in their laps. They’ve been doing so much, with so little, for so long, they feel ready to face anything. But then, they’ve never had to face a zombie apocalypse.

the performance was excellent. The story takes a while to get going and even when it does the actions taken during a zombie outbreak can be seriously frustrating. The sexual tension is kind of forced also adding to the annoyance. the real kicker though is as all leftist authors, he just had to froth at the mouth about trump, Christians, Republicans, etc. He at very least waited to do it towards the end of the book. It's a zombie apocalypse, I dont want to hear about politics at all when I'm reading horror. This is why I have given a negative review, because that is after all what the authors rhetoric is meant to do, piss half the audience off.

I cant finish this train wreck. the characters are obnoxious. main character is an incel, most badass character is an elderly woman, a dude in a wheelchair somehow survived a zombie outbreak, and throw in some nasty lesbian stuff just for extra cringe. I've heard more about a muff diver in 3 hours than I have zombies. The narrator was also horrible, if I have to hear him try to impersonate a black dude again I'll lose my sh** . . . this was written by a leftist with no sense of realism

first off, "cop killer bullets" and "bullets per second"..... this author should never write about firearms ever again. as for the story, it's like a song you hear that has one good melody but the rest of it forces you to shut it off. As for any other positive reviews, one can only assume that they are the type or people who could stare at a banana nailed to a wall in an art gallery and be whisked away by its boldness. yes, I hate you all. after reading after it happened, zombie road, and day by day Armageddon and reading this entire trainwreck, I cannot leave a good review. on top of that I agree the last 2 hours of this book conjures images of a tapeworm riddled hound scraping his bottom upon the carpet as you look on in horrified amusement.

The people that tried to kill the world almost succeeded. They were fiendishly clever but they didn't take into account the vets, the truckers, and the two-fisted fighters who didn't know how to give up. Gunny and his band of survivors continue their journey along the Zombie Road, saving as many as they can along the way. They power through the undead hordes with their modified semi-trucks to beat the ticking clock of nuclear meltdowns.

absolutely love this series. I love the authors no nonsense style and the fact that he lays things out in a "read it or dont" attitude. As an avid target shooter it's hard to listen to people write about firearms when you can tell they dont have the slightest clue what they are talking about, but these books have none of that. lastly I like his notes at the end of the books, it adds that human relatability to the series.
p.s. Mr. Simpson, I hope you've already read "day by day armageddon" by J.L.Bourne. your level of detail rivals his. I'm going to run through your whole series the way it's going in zombie road 3.

Amazing book. you can tell right away that a military man wrote this book. This author holds no truth back about the realities of the world. No leftist pc garbage in this book. I also like that his characters aren't portrayed as being so stupid to not know what a zombie is like so many other books do. and read the about author section of his website, explains his style of writing and humor.
