I am totally getting that tattoo!! what a great book! I have been surrounded by people most my life who spend their time trying to please others make sure everyone else is Happy while they just fade. it is so nice to know I don't have to do that. it is so nice to know that even though the choices I have made in my life are not the same choices my parents are siblings or friends would have made that it's okay because it's my life!
The only thing I don't feel she addressed properly was when she said that when a romantic relationship ends you need to go no contact for 30 days. when you get divorced, and you have children involved, you cannot go no contact for 30 days. until those kids are 18 you will never legally be able to go no contact. however, that does not make this a bad book! most people who are giving advice or help to others struggle with what you do in a divorce situation. do not let that dismiss this book.
I think everyone and I mean everyone should listen to this book at least once and I will definitely be listening to it again and again throughout my life to help me do what I need to to be happy without worrying about what others think.

Story
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

descent advice but poor execution
Reviewed: 02-08-25
This author gives some good advice on how to improve your life. However, he also gives thoughts that are cliched or tired, like be positive. Also for somebody who calls himself a writer several times in this book there was no editing in this book whatsoever. There are places where he makes up words or where his writing is just sophomoric. If you really want to experience this book it's probably better to read it. The audio version sounds like it's being read by a robot. There is a reason not all authors read their own content and it's because some of them sound like robots reading a script.

this was a fantastic story! I will admit the writing and choice of words used to tell the story Robert juvenile for such an adult book. however the story definitely draws you in and it never stops. even when the book ended I was like that can't be the end! so overall I loved it! I definitely recommend this book. that's all I will say because I don't want to give anything away but nothing is as it seems and I love it when a story keeps you on your toes!

It's been three long years since Deadbreak. That's what everyone's calling it - the day the dead rose. Every day since then, Jeremiah Reid has had one goal: to make his way back to his daughter. With his four-legged companion, Joe, Jeremiah has to travel a lawless wasteland teeming with zombies, bandits, and worse, like people who put anchovies on pizza (you know who you are). It's a new world out there, and no one is safe. People are weary, cities are in ruin, supplies are scarce, and brains are on the menu.

Story
In a tale inspired by real events, pregnant journalist Joan Harken is cautiously excited to follow her fiancé back to his Minnesota hometown. After spending a childhood on the move and chasing the screams and swirls of news-rich city life, she’s eager to settle down. Lilydale’s motto, “Come Home Forever,” couldn’t be more inviting. And yet, something is off in the picture-perfect village. The friendliness borders on intrusive. Joan can’t shake the feeling that every move she makes is being tracked. An archaic organization still seems to hold the town in thrall.
