Story
Imagine if you made one little mistake when you were young and were punished for it for the rest of your life. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. We meet Lydia just as she is denounced by her family, exiled miles from home, and married to the rogue George Wickham, who seems to love all women...except his own wife.

Music choice??? Seriously? Arguably the WORST choice possible. ELECTRIC GUITAR??? Why???? JUST WHY?
Reviewed: 11-09-24
this stupid music choice ruins a good redemption arc that would have been loved by Austen fans the world over. Such a shame.

Story
Quantum theory is the most revolutionary discovery in physics since Newton. This book gives a lucid, exciting, and accessible account of the surprising and counterintuitive ideas that shape our understanding of the sub-atomic world. It does not disguise the problems of interpretation that still remain unsettled 75 years after the initial discoveries. Uncertainty, probabilistic physics, complementarity, the problematic character of measurement, and decoherence are among the many topics discussed.

Born in 1795, tragically dead of consumption by age 26, John Keats was one of the greatest English Romantic poets. During his brief life, he composed many poems and odes that are considered among the finest and most passionate ever written. Lush, sensuous, rhythmic, and surprising, they captivate the senses and fascinate the mind.

Story
The 200 years' (and counting) peace was a time of tranquility that hasn't been seen since...well, ever. Mankind in the Galactic Age had finally conquered war, so what was left for the military to do but drink and barbecue? That's the kind of military that Sergeant R. Wilson Rogers lived in before he left the fleet to become a smuggler. But it turns out that smuggling is hard. Like getting-arrested-for-dealing-with-pirates-and-forced-back-into-service kind of hard.

Story
No subject is bigger than reality itself, and nothing is more challenging to understand, since what counts as reality is undergoing continual revision and has been for centuries. The quest to pin down what's real and what's illusory is both philosophical and scientific, a metaphysical search for ultimate reality that goes back to the ancient Greeks. For the last 400 years, this search has been increasingly guided by scientists, who create theories and test them in order to define and redefine reality.

Family Anihilation? Is there a more awful subject?
Reviewed: 09-16-18
I think it is completely unfair to not describe what the story is about!
If I want to hear/read about brutality and murder and that is my choice, some people like to read about serial killers and slasher films and the like. I think anyone who watches ‘saw’ is a lunatic.
I like all types of fiction, and history, literature, sci-fi, romance anything but I don’t like reading about murder.
This is not the Agatha Christie kind of murder mystery, I’m OK with that too.
This starts off like a romantic comedy and turns into something awful and ugly .
The failure to disclose how ugly the story is; is a type of dishonesty on the part of the purveyor.
If murder and horrific tragedy are your Cup of tea, enjoy, but I feel wretched! Ruined my day.
Life is hard and ugly enough, why put ugliness into your day-to-day existence?
