Not a grand as Nora’s other stories but not unreadable and LaVoy adds to it as always but still a pretty good story.

Another great story by America’s best storyteller. A romantic, suspenseful almost comedy. Great characters and wonderful flavors of the Southern country.

I finished this book (?) even though I was greatly put off by the female voice. The male voice made it tolerable and the premise wasn’t to awful.
When I finally got to the end and heard how many other people were involved in its production, not just 2 authors but a host of other seemingly useless folks, I realized that Audible is not always offering great books in its Plus Catalog. Again so glad it was free and I could dump it from my collection.

This book was such a wonderful step back in time to similar summers when innocence was a thin veil between childhood and adult life.Where the monsters are not real and can be chased away with the brush of a loving hand. For Tory the hand was never loving and her nightmares are real. It is a grand trip from her childhood nightmares to an adult dream.
It is also a true slice of small town life.

I completely forget that these people are just characters in a book. Nora makes them all seem very real even the ghosts.
This one did not have me yelling WTF at the end but it did leave me wishing for the months to fly by so that I can be enveloped one again in the story of the Lost Brides!

Smooth transitions from the fist set of books to this set. Can't wait to be able to listen to the next book. Love all these guys, their stories and their women and the kids and animals.

There are a lot of characters in this one but all are well thought out and developed,. Saying much more about it would take away from the thrill of discovery for most. There are hilarious moments, touching moments, and moments that make you want to pop somebody's head off. But JD Robb handles it all with smooth believable story telling.

This is a fantastic western romance told in the fashion of one of the great western writers, Louis L’Amour. I don’t think he was still alive when this was published but if he had been he would have approved. My only regret every time I listen to it is rear it ends.

Story was pitiful until almost the end and absolutely not helped by the voice of the narrator.
