If you enjoyed the "Bob verse" you'll enjoy this. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the narration, story is funny, clever, and entertaining with geekiness. The character of "Sheldon" the AI aboard the ship is great with his satirical humor is a case in point. I'm looking forward to other stories in the catalog.

Slaughtering Utah places

Probably one of the most disturbing audio books I've ever listened to.
And if you put aside the narrator's slaughtering of the names of Utah places.
Like calling Nephi (knee-phy) neph-eee, referring the State Fair grounds as the county fair grounds. or attempting to figure out where in North Salt Lake or Woods Cross a lot of events are happening. At least he got Tooele right

Eventually you get hooked and realize it's pretty frightening on how fragile our society is. All it would take would be a couple of events and all of it could just fall apart.
Look at what happened when some idiot, trying to pass a fake $20 bill, overdosed by swallowing all the drugs he was carrying. Turned all of Minneapolis into a war zone. And triggered an attack of the Marxist in our society hell bent or tearing the US apart. With "mostly peaceful protests".

It also makes you realize just how vital personal and family preparedness for a disaster of societal, economic, or natural causes. Or lack could be the death of tens of thousands of people.

It also makes you realize why the Marxist must never succeed in taking away our second amendment rights.

I've always believed that the most dangerous thing in a crisis are other humans. You don't have to worry about the bears in the mountains, you need to worry about the desperate people down the street.

where to begin. well I wish I hadn't spent $13 on this audiobook. the authors annoying use of acronyms just makes me want to drag my fingernails against the chalkboard. there are a few Pearls of Wisdom that scattered about throughout the book but personally I think that Mark Manson's models is a better program. and stop telling what another person said about the book The narrators voice is like listening to a used car salesman with a cigar trying to get to buy that lemon.
the only reason I bought this book is because one of the men in my men's group suggested it. and it's great if you want to be a player who bangs chicks and doesn't care about an long-term relationship or building something lasting. in fact Eric Von markovic's comment in the last 8 minutes about Wilt Chamberlain's wishing that he had one woman they could have 20,000 episodes of sex with versus the 20,000 women's he had sex with and Eric thinks that's BS. cuz clearly he doesn't get it. also I'm wondering if you still running around Canada single at 51 and alone. like I said no great mystery.

I love I love the last part of this story and the return of Arthur Dent to Earth 2.0. his meeting fin Church teaching her how to fly. sex on the wing, meeting Wonka the same. and all the other crazy genius from the mind of a great man Douglas Adams.

Martin fry does a great job narrating this book and makes it truly come alive and more entertaining.

really good story. Keeps you on the edge of your toes just when you think you figured out how the story is going suddenly you're cascaded into a different pool of water. as soon as you think that you've woken from one dream guess what you're not.
I have enjoyed Alton's other books like Loch Ness, and its sequel Vostok. and the Extra-Terrestrial book, and Sharkboy.

I have enjoyed the Meg series to an extent up until about the fourth book and then decided to try something new. Picked this one up and really enjoyed it.

The narration is really good compared to the guy who narrates the Meg series 2 through 4 who sounds like Chuck you Schumer. this guy's reading is really interesting and he keeps the story alive.
