This book helped me get my power back by giving me the information I desperately needed. The old saying is true: KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. The information provided in the first two chapters explains in easy to understand language what diabetes is, the weapons I can use to fight it, and how to implement those weapons to protect myself physically as well as mentally and emotionally.I do recommend this cookbook if you are just starting your journey of a lifetime change being a diabetic.

I could not put this book down. The author provides compelling and riveting insights into the latest science and the causes of many chronic diseases and how to prevent or cure them. These recipes look simple and delicious, and I couldn't believe it when I opened the book and discovered that I was excited to try every recipe in there! The layout is almost perfect with your grocery list and meals for the week, and my only complaint would be that the recipes for each week aren't in the same section.Prime information.
