Not a cerebral sci-fi series but still a lot of fun. Great tongue in cheek character interaction, reasonably tied together storyline, and an all around fun adventure - worth the time so far!

Thoroughly enjoyed an overall great premise to a post-apocalyptic alien invasion. The decisions faced by both sides - the survivors left behind and those that had escaped - are realistic, human, and makes the reader contemplate their own perspective for impossible situations and decisions. Looking forward to the next installment of this yarn!

A fun read that blends space, air and ground combat intertwined with espionage, treason, and political machinations. Without a doubt, this installment of the epic space opera yarn continues to pull the reader deeper into the Grimm Universe! It’s hard to stop listening, but wait! - only in Book 7 will we reach the outcome of this latest encounter! The reader can almost invent the closing trailer rants like the science fiction serials of old that ask -
“Will the illustrious crew of Interceptor and her Captain reach Alliance space in time?”
“Are the Marines on planet doomed to certain defeat by an overwhelming foe?”
“And what of the Alliance and her new ally?”
“How can the galaxy fend off the treacherous Guild and remain free from the devious evil clutches of the Caliphate?”
… stay tuned for the exciting conclusion of this adventure in Episode 7: Traditions of Courage - coming soon to a mobile device near you!
I’ve preordered already and can’t wait for 4/09/2024!

I found this tome to be intelligently crafted, true to its roots in military tradition, spacefaring adventure, and just plain FUN! - what a great adventure and rise from the ashes start to a new series … it was hard not to listen almost straight through - I’m already looking forward to the next installment! All around a real honest to goodness hidden gem and well worth a monthly credit!

Ignore negative reviews that say “it’s not deep enough” - this is a well-written military space opera and just a fun ride that you can immerse into and enjoy for what it is! A worthy sequel to the first volume of this series - thank you for sharing your story with us Jay!
