Inside Story into the Girlfriends
Reviewed: 09-07-23
I enjoyed the story for the most part. It's a very one sided view and while I'm sure the others were not 100% amazing humans at all times - it kind of seemed like she was playing the victim card a lot. I remember watching "The Girls Next Door" and thinking "that's weird but okay". I did enjoy the story for the most part so I gave it a 4 out of 5. But I do think it would be nice to have multiple POVs to even this out.

LOVE The DeWarenne Series!!
Reviewed: 01-07-22
I forgot how much I enjoyed this series. The characters are so well written and have depths. As soon as I saw that there were more of this series on audible I instantly bought them! My only complaint is that the narrator couldn't really do an Irish accent justice so it was a little almost painful in some parts. Could they not have found an ACTUAL Irish narrator?

Have you ever had one of those really bad days at work? You know, one where your sexy AF boss catches you photocopying your backside in his office? No? Just me, then? I blame my bestie and partner-in-chaos. She challenged me with a not-so-innocent dare that I should’ve flat out declined. But I’m an adrenaline junkie, and now, here I am. I know it sounds crazy, and daredevil tendencies aside, I definitely went too far to get his attention. But you haven’t seen him. Colton Wolfe. My boss. Tall, dark, handsome, and with the sexiest British accent I’ve ever heard.

Plenty of chuckles and STEAM
Reviewed: 10-21-21
I enjoyed the story for the most part overall. The only part that bothered me was the immaturity of the lead female character and her best friend. The author really dragged out the best friend joking about her "best friend's dad" fantasy. Also the female narrator had a terrible British accent. If you are looking for something that cranks up the steam and has multiple laugh out loud moments this is for you. My complaints are minor but totally worth a credit.

I had a plan to escape the friend zone. Step one: sneak into Reed’s room. Step two: sleep with him. But when the lights turned on, it wasn’t familiar blue eyes I saw. These were dark, angry, and full of demons. And they belonged to Reed’s much-older brother. Four years later, Nash Prescott is no longer the help’s angry son. I’m no longer the town’s prized princess. At 22, I’m broke, in need of a job. At 32, he’s a billionaire, in need of revenge.

While this is a longer title, I chose it because of the male narrator. I actually enjoyed the story once it got going. And there are times where I startled my dog who was sleeping with my sudden burst of laughter. Want an example? Her: "You have your mother's eyes." Him: "I know...they're in my eye sockets" I mean who says that?! It was so good! I really enjoyed this story! Definitely worth a credit!

This book was a mistake

I like Claire Kingsley. But the narrators weren't that great and the content was worse. I totally get being the youngest and the only girl of the family--but she's 21 and her family treats her like she's 12. And she doesnt stick up for herself. And when she finds her guy-her brothers go HAM. It was ridiculous and actually made me irritated to the extreme. Do NOT buy if you're looking for a good listen.

When my best friend Aubrey asked me to tag along to an event with her, I never could have imagined that it would be the day that my life changed forever. He's arrogant and demanding and doesn't take a hint. Landon Barker, the quarterback for the Hermosa Beach Trojans, is a player on and off of the field. He's got his sights set on me as his next play, but I see right through him. Aubrey says I'm overreacting, that I should give him a chance. What she doesn't realize is men like Landon don't fall for the girl next door.

Narrated by Emmy Award–winning actor Martin Sheen, The Home Front: Life in America During World War II takes listeners into the lives of Americans at home—part of the Greatest Generation—who supported the war effort and sustained the country during wartime. The war brought immediate, life-changing shifts: the rationing of meat, dairy products, and sugar; an explosion of war-related jobs; and, despite mixed signals, a greater role for women working outside the home.

I couldn't stop laughing at how the female lead even got signed up for the dating site. I had so many *sigh* moments in the good parts. Our male character is the definite-don't touch bc he's only here for 1 night and not overnight- type. Or should I say was? Piper has something about her that peaks our guy's interest.

I loved this story. It is the classic story with a twist! Landon had always had a crush on Cami but knew he had to give her time to grow up and experience life more. So when he is discharged from the Navy, he moves back home and can’t help but pursue Cami
