Story
They were kind enough to bring with them a whole new slew of problems for me to deal with. They’ve started a war of conquest, lost a fellow Marshall, and have done everything they can to make an already dangerous wasteland a powderkeg. Now they want to send me across the Cut, the most dangerous stretch of irradiated territory in the wastes, to investigate why the Rebuild America System isn’t fully active. I’ve fought the monsters that have spilled from it, and haven’t heard of anyone whose crossed it, and lived.

This series is worth a listen. I liked that the RAS was explained logically and it was easy to accept the otherwise odd notifications. I'm always looking forward to Heath Miller's renditions and Titus' works have been a pleasant surprise.

Story
In the distant past, a time of magic and swordplay, there lived Harold, the mightiest lich of all, a master of arcane sciences, and a challenger of gods. After reaching the pinnacle of his power and finding it surprisingly bland, Harold waged a cataclysmic war against the gods, aiming to shatter the very system that confined him.

It is good to know their are companies like this performing entire stories. I wish this one was longer. This is an interesting beginning to what I hope will be a much bigger universe.

Good Stuff

This series is like a fever dream of the main character. It has interesting parts and very odd parts. It has scenes that lead into possible plot lines. This main character now god-like in his behavior and seems to casually ponder xenocide while making sandwiches. It is a little unsettling but an enjoyable read/listen nonetheless. It is most certainly a somewhat unexpected turn and could be a turning point for the series.

A fun story. A good premise of an expanding universe. It creates characters that could easily travel to other books of the same author. Definitely worth a listen.

Story
How does a con man survive with no one around to fool but himself? Who does a knight battle when the demons in the dark begin to pale next to his own? And what, exactly, does a minotaur do when he finally gets a vacation day? Here you’ll find scenes that didn’t have a place in the main series, with new events that fall between the first three books to expand the lore and give fresh insight into some of your favorite characters - all with the same snarky and sinister mix you know and love. And maybe a few secrets too, if that’s your kind of thing.

James' story is worth the book alone. I always wanted more from that character and this collection did that. The Knights of Solomon could be a whole series by itself. This book fills in some of the gaps that may have left people wanting. If you are a fan of the series this is a must have. Truthfully, the last story could hook you into the series even if you haven't experienced it yet.

I usually get bored a few books into any series. So far I haven't been bored once. I really am envious on how Josh Erikson is able to narrate and express the scenes. More so, I am jealous on how well the world is so descriptive and amazingly put together. This is a masterpiece in my opinion. Also, it just makes me happy everytime I get to experience more.
